Received blue packet about 3 days after "decision rendered". Scholarship info included!

I don't want to wait any longer! My status checker said on Friday morning that my packet would be sent within 2 business days. I thought it'd be here ASAP considering I live less than 2 hours away. Oh well. I'm just too anxious.

If you didn't get yours yet that doesn't bode well for me getting mine in Texas anytime soon. I was hoping it would be here today but nope.

FWIW, I live in western Pennsylvania and got my packet 2 - 3 (11/9, I think) days after my status checker date (11/7).

Haha I know the feeling (aside from the lack of movement). Everyone keeps asking where I'm leaning towards and I have to keep saying that I need to see the $! Some good money from Drake, and for that matter Iowa, would make it a fun decision.

At work as well. Even if I was home, however, my mail doesn't come until 3:30-4:30. I'll update ASAP if I get anything though.

I emailed the office and here is part of what they said:

"We are currently in the process of revising renewal standards and approval of the new policy should come tomorrow morning, allowing me to send out official notice of your scholarship by Thursday afternoon."

So that clears it up!

Woah, do they have different shades of folders?! Lol mine was a strange shade of blue...like a sky blue. Darker than UNC blue, but not by much. Totally not Drake blue.

Anything to keep me from typing my UG final papers....

I didn't quote his whole email, but he said they are going to mail them. He said hopefully they'd be in the mail early tomorrow afternoon.

I'm so glad you got all this info so I didn't have to freak out when mine finally gets here.

Lol, I literally freaked out when there was no scholarship information in it. I tore through the contents making sure it wasn't hiding somewhere. I thought that it meant I wasn't offered any financial aid/scholarships. I thought I royally screwed up my app or something to be above both 75th percentiles and not get anything.

Now we get to wait a few days longer....yay! I love the waiting part....
