Ahhh! Apartment is pretty set up and I am so in love with it. I've never seen this large of an apartment in the Chicago area that wasn't insanely expensive. I could not be more happy!

We should all get together some time soon!

Looks like you were right about LW, vpintz. My schedule has now been updated with a separate writing class. It looks like Edwards does tge research part and Penland does writing. So, I take it you like Penland?

My IL bank doesn't have a branch in Iowa. Do you guys have any banks you'd recommend or suggest avoiding?

The US Bank down the street from you has good service, though I've had bad experiences with some other branches. They do have a good website and mobile app. Also, they're tge closest bank to the law school. I'd avoid Wells Fargo (I work there). Their whole culture is bad.

I've used Veridian Credit Union and love it, but don't know if there are any branches near Drake.

Awesome! Good to hear. I was hoping someone would suggest the US Bank since it is so close to my apartment. Thanks!

Finally got the last of my books (I believe)! Piecing them together from various places, it didn't even end up being anywhere near the $1,000 estimate they gave us. Just to be sure I got them all correctly though, are these all the books we need?

1. ALWD Citation Manual
2. Basic Legal Research
3. Iowa Legal Research
4. Student Library Exercises

Legal Writing:
1. Legal Reasoning, Writing, and Persuasive Argument

Civil Procedure:

2. Federal Rules of Civil Procedure

Torts:
1. Torts
