I am all nervous about it because it's my #1 and a lot of plans (i.e. renewing lease vs. moving back home to save money vs. having to move elsewhere if *gasps* I don't get in) are on hold until I hear back from them. I also would like to quit my current job at some point soon this Spring but again, it all depends on UConn it seems.
Depending on how long they have had your app for (or if they turn it around quickly and you are waitlisted), you should consider a LOCI (letter of clear intent) explaining why you love UConn, that you absolutely want/intend to attend, etc. It might give your app a boost. Obviously don't send it if you have only applied in the last two months, but if you haven't heard by the end of the month, I might send one in early Feb. I doubt it'd hurt, at least, and you sound like exactly the type of person they are meant to be written by, so why not?

Yeah mine went complete on 11/22 so I think I will wait it out for the month of January and then hit them up with one if I don't hear by then (just a bit over two months out). I'm sure I will hear by then though, whether it is positive feedback or not. Thanks!!!

Anybody applying for the Dean's public interest scholarship, or know anything about it the website doesn't mention.

I know that you probably need a high LSAT score to get it...

Any PTers hear anything? I haven't had any movement on my application since it went complete over a month ago.

I applied part time, and..

Havent heard anything yet. I went complete on 12/7. I'm not expecting to hear anything for a few months though. Check LSN or previous forums posts from past cycles, lots of people don't hear til late in the process, especially if you have borderline numbers like me.

I'm kinda getting tired of waiting here... I've been "in review" for 15 straight days and the anticipation is straight up killing me.

In today also. Does anyone know if scholarship information is supposed to come with the acceptance or does it come later?

Ugh, my status changed to "Decision", but I haven't gotten any e-mail yet. The seat deposit info remained the same with no updated amounts. This doesn't look good at all...

Yup, I got waitlisted. What the f*ck. Does anyone know where there is a good forum for writing those letters of interest when you're on the waitlist?

I'm feeling kinda jaded about UConn atm but I think I'm just right on their bubble for FT with a 158/3.11, yet I feel like my connections and work experience at an NLJ250 and at one of the firms they constantly feed their grads into in CT should have gotten me further. Oh well, I suppose it's a numbers game for them at this point.

I applied PT and went complete very early in December. Just went to in review today. 154/3.43...congrats to everyone who got in! Certainly giving me a reason to believe. Hopefully they keep getting decisions out the next couple of days.

Accepted today.
under review 1/4
note: I'd be surprised not to be an auto-admit, so use this to gauge turnaround time
(T14 LSAT score, great softs, clear reasons for choosing uconn over much better schools)
