Ok it doesnt say acceptance packet...just decision mailed and just assumed it was the acceptance packet. my bad But it says that under mailings.

Does the LUC status checker actually switch to an "In review" status, or do they just keep the "application complete" status throughout the process?

The app complete confirmation email said the status checker will say 'complete' until a decision is made

The Faculty Committee on Admission has completed its review of your application to Loyola University Chicago School of Law. The law school usually receives about 5,000 applications, and unfortunately cannot offer admission to all well-qualified candidates. Regretfully, I must inform you that we are unable to offer you a place in our Fall 2012 entering JD class.

Since we are a small law school, we must turn away a large number of candidates for admission. Please be assured that your entire academic and personal file was carefully considered by the Faculty Committee on Admission. In assessing an application for admission, the personal statement, resume, transcripts, curriculum, outside activities, and letters of recommendation are considered, as well as the LSAT and academic GPA.

I am sorry to bring such disappointing news to you. We have tried to notify you early in the admission process to permit you to pursue applications to other law schools. Thank you for applying to Loyola and best wishes in your future endeavors.

I had just checked my status five minutes earlier and it was the same, and after I got the email it changed to Decision Made. Seems like they do them at the same time (or close to it).

It is disheartening but honestly, probably good for me (personally). I wasn't going to get much aid with my scores. I work for an attorney now, and I will be getting a significant salary bump with the extra year before law school (assuming I am dinged by C-K as well). Not to mention I will be padding my resume to get into law school / coming out of law school.

Time to grind until the June LSAT, knock it out of the park, and hopefully hit next cycle with more ammunition to pull a substantial scholarship offer from some Chicago schools

Congrats! I had a slightly lower GPA / higher LSAT and was dinged. Make the most of it!
