Didn't have a header this morning when it changed to FIR but this one just popped up:

"Your file has been forwarded to the Admissions Committee for review. This does not, however, mean that you should refresh this page every 15 minutes until you get a decision. All Early Decision applicants will get a decision (which could include Waitlist) by mid-January. We try to have decisions to all Regular Decision applicants by mid-April.



Now keepin' it real, y'all (people still "keep it real", right, or did that go out with "kickin' it old school"?), some people will be "In Review" for a few weeks, others much longer. That's just the way it is. It's actually a good thing because it means human beings are reading these applications that you put so much time into. In the meantime, hang with your family, pick up a hobby, volunteer, read a book, whatever. Anything to take your mind off of your law school applications. And don't let people on those law school message boards freak you out. For reals."

I was complete in September... still awaiting review.

I guess that's what I get for having sub-par numbers. Based off of anecdotal evidence it seems like schools review the auto-admits and auto-rejects first.

Received 11/3 Complete 11/11. We can rule out it being when you applied as the order and maybe perhaps ED/RD since I was RD. I do have numbers above both 75th percentiles though, and I also am doing my under grad at Tech so maybe either of those have something to do with the order of review.

I'm one point above median GPA and one point below median LSAT, so I'm very middle of the road for Tech. I'm also out of state. I doubt that has anything to do with review order, but I thought I'd mention that.

Last year I applied to most schools early, took forever to go under review, spent forever under review, and at the end of it all was WL or rejected at most of my target schools. I feel like I underachieved last year (even for my numbers) so I'm sort of uptight and jaded about the whole process.

I just get jumpy and feel like it's last year all over again.

There are alot of people who know exactly how you feel. Stay positive and try not to stress out, maybe use the time waiting to develop a plan B. I think your numbers are on point for Tech honestly

My file is still at Ready for Review since late September. Around median for Texas Tech. I seriously considered going ED, but just couldn't bring myself to take the plunge. Hopefully we'll get it pushed in review soon like the rest of you. Been getting some acceptances from a few of my safety schools, which has buoyed my spirits and kept me patient.

thanks it hasn't changed yet. however, he did say that i'd be getting an official email in the next day or two with scholarship info and stuff, so maybe then it will? good luck!

I got a phone call this morning (11/23) from the Dean of Admissions saying I was accepted and got a scholly. I'm glad they got this off before the break.
