Thanks, Gail. Good luck to you too, wherever you end up!Gail wrote:Sorry, guys. I don't think that they rank the WL, but for those of you really wanting to get in I'm going to withdraw from that pool. It isn't like someone who already has admission withdrawing, but it does remove some of the competition.
I hope everyone that wants Colorado gets in and good luck this year!
-Yours truly. Decision was 1/9... Got the letter today in CA.sgrimes wrote:is that really what they said? lol interesting way to put it...... good luck!
FYI I noticed a rejection on the LSN website. 159 and 2.5 econ major. Says the decision was made 1/6
Sorry to hear that, Ginj. I'm sure mine will be in my mailbox today.Ginj wrote:Received the letter dated 1/9. 'Twas a ding. Good luck everybody else!

I doubt they'd ding you with a score pending. In all likelihood, you're in and they don't need the other score! Good luck.bigtexmex wrote:Sorry to hear. I'm guessing mine is in the mail.Ginj wrote:Received the letter dated 1/9. 'Twas a ding. Good luck everybody else!
I should be in with my numbers and URM status (3.6/165), but CU decided not to wait one more day for my December LSAT score.
I was one of the several with the letter dated 1/9 update, and no dates on the deposit deadlines. My status also changed before LSAC had actually sent an updated report (as they sent the report the next day). I tried to get in touch with the admissions office to no avail.milljp02 wrote:I doubt they'd ding you with a score pending. In all likelihood, you're in and they don't need the other score! It was about my upbringing and how that has shaped my view of the law. Immigrant parents with no education past sixth grade and can't speak English, low paying jobs, growing up in a community with gang problems and a high dropout rate from HS, etc. (I could go on, but it's pretty typical of low income Mexican American communities throughout the country.) I mentioned how my community suffers from police injustice, but usually have no legal recourse. How I wished to change that, and worked hard to overcome such low expectations to attend college at a top school (U of Texas) for undergrad and get a grad degree eventually.sgrimes wrote:was 165 your old score or December score? what was your PS topic?
Sorry, Ginj. Hate you didn't make it. Good luck in the rest of your cycle!Ginj wrote:Received the letter dated 1/9. 'Twas a ding. Good luck everybody else!

The 165 was my new score. My old score was a 153. CU appears to be the only school that didn't wait until the seventh of January when LSAC updated my report to other schools.
eta: My app was incomplete because of a mix up and it was fixed in less than five minutes after I got off the phone.
Glad you got in contact with them and they're reconsidering. And congrats on such an impressive score jump!bigtexmex wrote:Update:apeopleshistory wrote:You need to call them. I called them and finally got in touch with someone.
Yeah, it appears that their acceptance (or should I say rejection) came before my new score came in.
I was informed it will be reconsidered and reviewed again.
Thanks. Yeah, I just received the rejection letter from CU in the mail. Now, I'll wait for the second one, which hopefully will be an acceptance.wvuchip wrote: Glad you got in contact with them and they're reconsidering. And congrats on such an impressive score jump!
I'm almost positive you'll get in with that 165 and being a urm ma. I mean I got in with a lot lower GPA (3.0) urm ma. But I also went to CU for undergrad and wrote a PS specifically tailored to them... may have helped a little bit.bigtexmex wrote:Thanks. NBD- Almost all of my schools were reaches and I knew most would be rejections- I'm just trying to get into the best situation possible.sgrimes wrote:sorry about the letter was CU your top pick or are you hoping for another school?
