Somewhere, I think in the FAQ section of the admissions page, they note that if you don't get in ED you will be automatically considered for RD. That's why I think the status hasn't changed to "decision rendered," they've just moved us to a different pile. I hope I'm wrong and we're all in with full rides, but I think the ED --> RD transition is the correct answer.sgrimes wrote:Just saw this thread.....I'm happy to hear others are as anxious as me!
I'm also waiting to receive my CU letter by mail. My status still reads 'your application is now complete', but my residency status did change. I'm assuming if they have mailed a decision letter and the status isn't updated, it means WL because the application email said "We will mail you a letter when the Admissions Committee has made a decision and update your online status to “Decision Rendered.” Admissions decisions are generally made through the end of May." I guess everyone who is not accepted ED is automatically WL instead of rejected.
But hopefully we're all wrong and will receive a warm acceptance........
Good luck!

Well, the mail just came to my house for the day. It's now been 4 business (mail service?) days since a decision letter was supposedly mailed to me. I didn't think it took that long for mail to get from Boulder to Phoenix.

Damn feds cutting subsidies to the USPS....it's time for law schools to start FedExing/UPSing their decisions.un-vordox wrote:Well, the mail just came to my house for the day. Re: CU-Boulder Applicants Class of 2015
I'm only 50 miles from boulder and haven't received mine either. maybe 'mailed' means 'to the school's mail system'. it might take a few days to reach the PO from there. I'll post if I get mine today.

It says "we have mailed a decision letter" in the status checker, but not "we have mailed your decision letter". Coincidence?

Just came across this thread - I applied ED and received the letter already. So for what it's worth, it seems they are in the mail system.

Re: CU-Boulder Applicants Class of 2015
my numbers are below the mean....so I realize my chances are slim. I'm 31, started school pre-vet at 18 and did poorly because I was unhappy with my major. I took a 6 year break and have earned a 3.7 since my return, but they look at cumulative performance so my gpa is awful. my LSAT is above average but not a sure "in". so....I'm hoping my statement and excellent rec letters are enough. but it's a numbers game so we'll see..... you?

Re: CU-Boulder Applicants Class of 2015
Same here with the GPA (2.3) and a decent LSAT (164) right at the median. I was thinking ED was my best shot at avoiding the slow painful death by waitlist, plus CU is my top choice by far. My bet is the letter is in my box tomorrow and I'll be joining you in RD since my checker also still says "complete" not "decision rendered." Also 31, maybe they'll cut us older wiser folks a break?sgrimes wrote:my numbers are below the mean....so I realize my chances are slim... they look at cumulative performance so my gpa is awful. my LSAT is above average but not a sure "in". so....I'm hoping my statement and excellent rec letters are enough. but it's a numbers game so we'll see..... you?
Update 12/15: Got the letter, my guess was correct, rolled into regular admissions. Should hear back in "the next couple of months" - I will be keeping the Tums people in business for the "next couple of months"!

Finished with finals. Now hoping the curve is generous....
I mean, they don't have to give C's do they? Just have to make the middle person get an 88?

Re: CU-Boulder Applicants Class of 2015
Going into all this I knew my classmates were going to be smart, but I underestimated how insanely hard 80% of the class would work. We had five classes, and on all of the finals except for Contracts all of the people I know got all of the substantive issues correct. They all also spoke about them with some depth...bigtexmex wrote:That bad?Lord Randolph McDuff wrote:Finished with finals. Now hoping the curve is generous....

I don't envy the professors job of grading these things.

Just got "decision rendered" on my status checker. Does Colorado really send out rejections this early?

For those who are getting Decision Rendered, when did you all submit/go complete?

I went complete 9/29. And it didn't change at all until today with the decision rendered.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
