I have a decision letter mailed today as well. No listing of deposit deadlines or amounts. The only thing listed in the box is the app fee.

I wouldn't fret the deposit dates just yet. That may hVe been the tell-all for our batch of decisions, but not allfreaknroll wrote:I have a decision letter mailed today as well. No listing of deposit deadlines or amounts. The only thing listed in the box is the app fee.

I'm not stressing over this one. I wouldnt be surprised with a waitlist, I didnt write a why cu. Boulder/Colorado would be an awesome place to live though.ashley12 wrote:I wouldn't fret the deposit dates just yet. Have any of my fellow rollovers from the ED pool had any movement yet?

Re: CU-Boulder Applicants Class of 2015
I spoke with the office early last week about another question and they said most ED apps are supposed to be re-evaluated starting in Feb. The committee was buried under huge packets of December LSAT results (that they received Jan21) and have also received a lot of new apps. So it sounds like a slow process for a little while.
I sent a continued interest letter today even though I'm not WL, so hopefully it helps rather than annoys.

For the LOCI, who did you address it to? The committee or a specific dean? Just curious, I'm about to do the same thing later this week.
Thanks and good luck!

I sent the letter attn: admissions and addressed the actual letter to the "admissions committee". I was having the same dilemma, but figured it might be better to generalize it rather than risk choosing the wrong person or annoying someone who may be overwhelmed. As with every step of this whole process, I spent about 30 minutes over-analyzing it last night lol

IN today via snail mail (dated the 27th). Came in a small envelope, which scared me, bc I was expecting a WL or flat-out reject. This is one of my top choices, and I'm thrilled! No deposit amounts/dates yet on status checker.

My status changed to Decision Rendered today and I got an acceptance letter in the mail! My seat deposits haven't shown up so that doesn't seem to be a sign that you aren't accepted for those still waiting.

I'm in the same boat! I got a tiny envelope with less than a week of "complete" status, so I thought for sure it was a deny or waitlist. But it's an admit!! Very happy. Still no deposit information though.smhaaty wrote:My status changed to Decision Rendered today and I got an acceptance letter in the mail! I think they changed the protocol because they were getting so many anxious phone calls in response to updates lol I would assume no one is going to show very much activity going fwd until they receive an admit/reject letter

I think I can verify that the deposit amounts/dates, etc., are no longer a tell.
My status updated to "Decision Rendered" on 1/27, and those lines had disappeared altogether. I thought I was waiting for a ding in the mail but the acceptance arrived just now!
TL;DR - You'll have to wait for the letter.

+1, same thing happened to me. Anyone know how long it takes to get the packet/scholarship info?ThatGuyWithTheFace wrote:I think I can verify that the deposit amounts/dates, etc., are no longer a tell.

Letter says they start going out end of January, so we should at least see some reports going up on LSN soon. I hope. Not sure if us late January admits will get any of that first-round love.

Congrats to the newest admits! I am glad they changed the seat deposit thing. That was a rather anti-climatic way to figure out my decision

I thought this was a pretty good/useful post from Yale's admissions blog re: letters of rec. I know most of us already have our stuff in, but I felt a little better about my apps after reading it

Re: CU-Boulder Applicants Class of 2015
I went complete 1/25 (after a very long wait) and saw that Decision Made was posted today. I am thinking it's an auto rejection, but of course one never knows.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
