Since it is party based on financial need, a person's financial situation may change from year to year (i.e. win a lottery) so I would say that the amount listed is for one year only.ocuviper wrote:For those who received letters: the wording suggested that the offer was per year, so multiPly by 3 for total. Am I correct in opinion?
I received an offer last year and from what I remember, yes, that's the way it works. Initial offers have no stipulations and don't change. So, if it says 15k renewable, that's 45k. Hope that's helpful, and hopefully my advice isn't outdated! I'm still waiting to hear from the east coast...ocuviper wrote:For those who received letters: the wording suggested that the offer was per year, so multiPly by 3 for total. Am I correct in opinion?
That is what I interpreted it to mean. The wording was a bit confusing, but IMO the amount listed is per year.ocuviper wrote:For those who received letters: the wording suggested that the offer was per year, so multiPly by 3 for total. Am I correct in opinion?
Well, it's been wildly different for each applicant, but I went to 1st comm review on 11/21 then didn't get to 2nd comm review until 3/9. Yeah, depending on your numbers, might want to get comfortable.lakers3peat wrote:Ok ok so from final review to decision finalized we dont know exactly how long.
but how about from 1st review to 2nd review?
ball park?
1 week?
2 weeks?
5 months?
what is the average?!
also does anybody have one of those charts that shows the % of admits based on month.
Are you talking about this one?lakers3peat wrote: also does anybody have one of those charts that shows the % of admits based on month.
I did similar. I completely skipped 2nd review which doesn't bode well at allHeadToWall wrote:Wow, I went from Compete 1/23 to In Final Review 3/15. So basically they went for the auto-reject option. Sigh
Sigh - what it must feel like to be able to check your status regularly. I called USC not too long ago saying its been over a month since I applied and still did not receive an email with the login password. Checked spam and everything. The admissions lady told me that I was wrong...it was sent...and it would be too much effort to go back and individually send it to me. But she did tell me I was sitting at complete. How nice of her. Seriously at this point, can I just get a decision. California schools are so. slow.favrefire4 wrote:I did similar. I sure hope you're right! USC is awesome and my last good shot at the best coast!Green Glass Windows wrote:Okay, but clearly that graph can't also apply to this year. They didn't start accepted people until way later than that!
