I can't say this with 100% certainty [for the situation now], but from what I remember, my acceptance email came 2-3 days later by giving me my information to get into the Admitted Student Portal. The IT department will probably have to generate your USC ID before they can send the email.

Anyone who has been accepted recently, did you guys receive it the day your status checker changed?

Has anyone asked if you are allowed to stay on waitlists and keep the scholarship when you make the first deposit?

Do you have to ever withdraw from all the waitlists at some point?

Decision Finalized. Today. Curious if I'll get an e-mail like some other applicants have mentioned, or if it's a straight-up ding. I'm actually looking forward to making the video if I do get wait listed, as well as a LOCI. Continued luck to everyone on the WL and pending.

Was finally accepted to USC this past Friday!! I'm from LA and it was my first choice. I was expecting having to move back to the east coast and was definitely not looking forward to winter there. Good look to those still waiting!

Thanks! I got a DF last Thursday, an email on Friday and the snail mail letter I believe the following day. I've been abroad on vacation the whole time and I didn't check my email for a few days so it was quite a surprise to see an acceptance email because the last time I had checked I was still at 2nd committee read. In any case though, I'm super excited to be able to stay in LA!

Just got a money from Duke off the waitlist. I will be withdrawing tommarow after I confirm with Duke (damn you time difference). I had money from USC, so good luck to all my TLSers on the long wait for a sport off the waitlist.
