I got the waitlist email today. I think they are yield-protecting like none other.

So I went to the Admitted Bruins Reception at Dean Rasmussen's home and was able to talk to Chloe Reid, the Dean of Admissions. I asked her about the admissions process and she basically told me that the vast majority of acceptances have been sent out already. Just giving yall a heads up. BTW, she was really amazing... she remembered me from my file. They were ALL amazing.

I was at the Bruin Reception as well...I suppose it was SC's way of indoctrinating us into the red and gold.

For those who requested to reserve a spot on the waitlist, did anyone get a confirmation e-mail after submitting to hold a spot? I'm afraid my submission didn't go through or something.
This process is making me paranoid. -_-

i live in la and still haven't received any scholly info... i feel like my numbers, etc. are good enough to warrant at least a decent amount of merit aid. do you guys think they are still sending them out on a rolling basis or did i miss this round?

I just called the financial aid office and they said that not all decisions have been made yet for those who applied before the March 1st priority deadline (and this includes my file) so looks like we're to be kept waiting a little while longer

Sidenote: I was also at the bruin reception- the deans/profs were seriously cool people! Hope they don't get word of my years of dedicated SC trash talking at the rose bowl...

Did anyone from the 3/19 DF group get their decisions in the mail? If so, accepts or denials? Thanks everyone.

I got my letter in the mail today, but I haven't retrieved it from my mail box place. Will update when I get it later on tonight. Crossing my fingers.

Rejected! That was not the surprising part. The surprising part was telling me I should apply as a transfer student next year. That was weird. Do they do that to all the rejects? Still weird if they do.

I've been complete since 1/9. Is that normal?? My stats are 163 and 3.81, my undergraduate gpa is 3.92. ??? Should I give up hope. I went to ucla undergrad if that makes a difference.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
