Wondering this as well.Marie34 wrote:I was just wondering if anyone knew if Maryland is still sending out scholarships? I'm above 75% for LSAT and right at 75% for GPA, but I've gotten nothing? I'm pretty interested in the school, but have received generous scholarships from schools ranked right around Maryland (Georgia, Wake, Ohio State). Still a chance I'll get something?

I have a feeling they will still have more scholarship money to offer after the first seat deposit is due and they figure out who is coming and who is not coming. All the people that withdraw or don't pay a seat deposit will open up the scholarship money that those individuals were offered. I hope I can get some, but I am waitlisted so I doubt I will. I am just praying for a seat at this point. I will pay retail if I have to!

Do you have other options? Was Maryland your top choice?

Is anyone else still waiting for a decision? I have been in review since 2/8... This is just getting ridiculous

I dont't know about you all, but as someone who was waitlisted early February, I thought the wait until late April (when they will start making decisions for us) would be gruesome. But time has just been flying.

I applied in early January and heard back early February. Are you in some way an unusual applicant to help account for the wait?Yazzinit wrote:Still complete/in review from early January...Sherlock1708 wrote:Is anyone else still waiting for a decision? Bit of a splitter. On the low end of one, higher end of the other scale. Probably the causepret wrote:I applied in early January and heard back early February. Honestly, I was on the lower end of both spectrums so I'm not sure what to say. Perhaps you should give them a call and ask if you're missing something that's causing the delay.Yazzinit wrote:Bit of a splitter. On the low end of one, higher end of the other scale. Good idea. I was considering that, but didn't want to seem annoying. It is getting close to seat deposits at other schools though and it would suck to lose part of a deposit when they haven't even given me an initial decision...

I also applied in early January and was waitlisted in early February. I wonder what caused them to make such a quick waitlist decision? Usually seems like the more borderline applicants have longer waits and the auto admit/reject applicants receive the quick decisions.pret wrote:I applied in early January and heard back early February. I agree--April is rapidly approaching. I'm hoping they start reviewing waitlisted applications after the seat deposit deadline on the 6th and don't wait until the end of April.
