Don't jump to conclusions. If it is a wave of the same decisions together - I will say I am highly confident that I will be accepted (based on looking at several years of LSNs, I haven't seen anyone similar receive anything except an acceptance (feel free to pm for stats).

Status changed to decision made as well... seat deposits are listed, perhaps I will take it as a good sign.

I think everyone that went decision rendered has the seat deposit information there now. I was waitlisted and have the seat deposit in the lower left hand box now too. Good luck!

Sorry...wasn't trying to crush your spirit. I thought the same thing when I went decision rendered then a bunch of people started saying they had the same thing on their page. On a good note though, MD usually sends out decisions in batches and it looks like someone else posted that they were accepted so I hope you get accepted with them.

Hi folks

I got into this whole process very late. I applied on 3/12/12. Should I be worried that my application is still sitting at "application received" status, and hasn't moved to in review? Maryland is my first and pretty much only choice, as it's the only school that really makes sense to me (I live right outside of Baltimore). I got a 3.78/160 before anyone asks!

Good luck to everyone else applying.

Spoke to them today, since I've been in review since early Jan. They ensured me I hadn't been forgotten or lost (lol), and that it's pretty much 8-12 weeks standard policy. Guess I just have to hang in there and hope to hear from them soon.

It took a good 2 months for my application to go from complete to in review, although a decision was reached within a week after it changed to in review.

I most likely will be withdrawing from Maryland next week. The additional financial burden as an OOS student just doesn’t make sense for me. I wish the best of luck to the rest of you though, and I hope one of you deserving TLSers gets my seat!

I wish they all weren't the same weekend! I unfortunately won't be able to go.

I kinda assumed this meant I had been accepted and since asd is just around the corner they were trying to get the word out ASAP. This kind of thing has happened with three other schools where an ancillary email ( ASD, admitted students login) gets sent before I receive my actual admission letter.

I applied 12/12 and had a decision by 12/22, above 75th LSAT below 25th GPA. Going to withdraw my acceptance in the next two weeks though, good luck to the rest of y'all!

I just went 'In Review' today and I'm also above the 75th LSAT and below the 25th GPA. Here's to hoping that they will send your acceptance my way.

Received the invite to ASW and just got an e-mail from UMB Housing... "Congratulations on your acceptance to the School of Law at the University of Maryland, Baltimore."

I guess this means we are in!

It would benefit all of those still waiting to hear from Maryland if you withdrew as soon as possible.

HLS worthy insight right here. It would benefit all those from Ghana if Luis Suarez weren't a cheater too.

Question for those who got in and received scholarship money, did it come in a separate mailing or together with the initial acceptance letter?

I found this thread only recently and I'm hoping Maryland offers three-year courses. I am mainly relying on a student loan so I'm hoping there's a way I could save up more. I heard that Three-year degrees reduce student financial burden so I might as well try it. I hope someone here could give me advises and opinions about it.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
