I applied to Mercer, too. My numbers aren't much better than yours (3.02/160).
My status checker says they won't start reviewing apps until December. I was hoping to know something before Christmas. I guess we'll see.

I'm hoping that the drop in applicants this year will lead to our class getting some serious scholarship $$$

Where did you happen to hear about the drop in apps this year? I saw a link about it on another forum but couldn''t open it. Quite a few people have mentioned the drop in applicants, just wondering how they knew.

because of the big decrease in LSAT takers 16.9% decrease in October and 18.7% in June

Ok that makes sense. It should work in the applicants favor then.

So applied like a week ago and I still haven't even received an email saying they received my application or anything. Whereas, every other law school I've applied to sent me email confirmation with a status checker within 1-2 days. Anyone else having the same experience?

Yeah, they moved the slowest of all the schools I applied too as well. My status checker says they won't start reviewing apps until December, so its just a waiting game after you submit.

Chech your LSAC account to make sure everything has been submitted. If you haven't heard anything by dec 1, you might want to call the admissions office.

Thanks, Johnlj56. I checked my LSAC account, it appears that everything has been sent. If i don't hear anything by sometime after Thanksgiving break I might email them just to make sure they actually do have everything.

What's weird is the day I submitted my application, I got an email about school preview day, but that's all. Probably just a coincidence, who knows.

I have also applied to Mercer (154/3.2)

It took my app two weeks to become complete. I sent the app in on 11/1 and LSAC sent everything a day or two later but my status checker didn't say complete until 11/14.

I decided to email Mercer since I still got no confirmation that my application was received. I was given a response promptly saying that it is complete and ready for review.

Anyway, in the case that anyone was interested, she said that the committee would be making admissions decisions in the next few weeks.

I completed my application this week.....finally! So now we are all in the waiting game. How long after you went complete did the status checker log in information arrive? By mail or email?

Not yet. Hopefully we will see some movement soon. I would just like to go under review at this point.

I think they are trying to gauge how many applicants they will have this year compared the past couple of years. I hope that's the case anyway.

Someone on the lawschoolnumbers.com site just updated as accepted for Mercer. Not sure if it is legit but if it is it shows movement.

Yeah I saw that. That's a good sign.

Also last year they didn't really start sending out decisions until 12/6 according to LSN.
