Got a scholarship email today, so I guess today was the first round of new decisions and emails. Anyone off the waitlist as of today?

Rejected today. Application went straight from complete 10/18 to rejected 4/20.

Apparently my application was as unimpressive as the UNC admissions office.

i found out i got waitlisted yesterday, even though i assumed i had gotten rejected based on the fact that my stats are so below what they wanted and also since it was so late in the cycle. i put on the survey that aug twentysecond would be how long they should keep me on the waitlist. does this mean they are not going to let me know until august?

I'm a graduating Duke 3L selling a 3BR/2BA house about 10 min drive/25 min bus ride from UNC Law. Since the "Class of 2015" section thread hasn't heated up much yet, figured this thread might have some other folks starting to look for housing. If interested, PM me.

For those that have been accepted and intend to go elsewhere: please take the time to withdraw from UNC. It could potentially affect one of the forums members here in a very positive way. Maybe even myself.

Also, if you have been wait listed but do not plan to attend UNC, please also consider withdrawing. Thank you!

UNC told me the other day that they had sent out 400+ acceptances. Does this mean there are still 100+ acceptances coming, since they usually sent out 500+ acceptances?

i agree!! I would absolutely love to get off the waitlist and not knowing when they will give me a definitive answer is killing me!

Nothing. I have a bad feeling they're going to reject me far far down the road, after I hold out forever.

So I'm at my wits ended checking and rechecking like a mad woman. It's almost May 1 and I haven't heard anything. Trying to remain optimistic but my nerves are shot!

Sitting on Application Complete here on April 30. I guess I'll hear something today or tomorrow?

It's now almost 6:30 on the east coast. I'm beginning to suspect that those of us with no action to date are all going to get wait listed tomorrow... not because we're better candidates than those dinged already, but because they can do that and deal with our applications later.

I must admit that I am completely over UNC Chapel at this moment. All i want is an answer so i can make a law school decision. is that really too much to ask.

Starting to sound like a broken record (do you young whippersnappers even get that simile? -- from experience, not from a secondhand explanation), but still sitting on Application Complete.

Dinged just now by email. A bit surprised (expected WL) but probably wouldn't have chosen UNC anyway.

With that my cycle is complete and I can make my choice.

(btw, at 10 to 7 eastern, they're certainly taking it up to that May 1 deadline).

I called today and found out I had been accepted. Apparently there was some kind glich in the system and I was supposed to have found out more than a week ago.
