Fordham only offered 10k a year. After getting 35k from BU, and being up for aid at Georgetown, I'm withdrawing. Good luck, everyone!

edit: if I would be up for significantly more financial aid, will Fordham give me financial + merit, or only merit?

EDIT: Also, is it worth trying to get them to offer me more? I got a 30k/year offer. While I know that that's at the high end and that they have limited funds, I was still hoping to get a little bit more money, honestly. Problem is I don't have anything to negotiate with. I've only applied to NY schools, and have nothing from NYU/Columbia as of yet, though I do have a full ride from Cardozo. So is negotiating worth it at all at this point?

It doesn't hurt to try, but be aware that they max out at $35k (which is rare)
Cardozo doesn't count - they're not in the same league (I got big bucks from them too)
I'm also in the dark on NYU and Columbia, but I doubt I'll get any money at this stage, to I'm fairly certain I'll end up rooting for the rams

Agreed with last poster. Cardozo full ride means nothing to Fordham. If you don't have leverage, don't bother attempting to negotiate. wait until you have leverage. 30k is a big deal congrats!

I figured Cardozo wasn't really going to count. Hopefully I'll get something from NYU or Columbia, though I'm not expecting anything, and will be able to use that for negotiating. If not, the offer Fordham gave me is still solid. I'm grateful for it.
