Of course they care about the rankings - it would be suicidal not to care. That's why they made the changes to the Evening Program (I must have been unclear in the way I answered you.) Steve Brown is very open about this.MrAnon wrote: Well which is it? Does it care about USNWR stats or not?
When someone tries to paint other schools as being some bottom feeders only concerned with USNWR stats as if Fordham is above that I think it deserves to be pointed out that it is just the same as any other school, that is all.
I think the part time program for real working people is a great and unique contribution. Would have been splendid if it had just been for working people from the start.
As to the bottom feeders comment... I must have missed something in the thread. Schools have to be worried about USNWR, period. (Well. Maybe not if you're Yale. lol.)
Evening Division was started for working people, as a way for them to go to law school at night. Over time, it morphed into something hybrid. As I understand it, the drive now is to return it to its roots - to the program it was intended to be. It's tough to balance work and school but incredibly rewarding - glad Fordham recognizes the value of the program and is taking steps to strengthen it.
