I love Madison, loved the school, but didn't apply because of money. Not only are they tight with scholarships, they were the only school not to give me a fee waiver (I even solicited). Every other school was either free or gave me a waiver (Iowa, Minnesota, Marquette, Illinois, Drake, Indiana). I figured it wasn't worth the money to only decide not to go because of price.

My status checker just changed to "in review"...which is REALLY fast, since I just sent my app in last Friday. EEP!

Good luck! I will hopefully be joining you in review soon, just waiting on my darn professor to finish the LOR. Hopefully joining in on acceptances to!

For what its worth I received my decision less then 2 weeks after sending in my application last year!

How soon after you guys had everything sent in did Madison send the status checker? I finally got everything in last night, now the waiting game starts.

Submitted 11/1. Got checker very soon after because I went In Review 11/3....still in review 11/3.

I sent in my app on a Friday and got my checker on the following Monday. (I went "in review" on the Thursday of that week, fwiw)

Just to let everyone know what happened last year (not that it will be indicative of this year), I applied very early on and went in review around the same time you all did.

Then I waited and waited. Didn't actually get a decision until after Christmas. The in review status unfortunately doesn't seem to say much. Good luck to everyone in this thread though. I am very happy with my decision to attend.

If you're not an ED applicant I'm pretty sure you won't hear anything until the ED pool is pushed through. They say ED decisions should come out 2nd week of Dec.

My status checker was updated...still listed as "in review" but the date changed from 11/16 to 12/1. Should I assume this means something and start freaking out? :3

It was around this time last year that acceptances started coming out. I think it was like the 12th or 13th the first batch came. I would expect there is some movement within the next two weeks.

I'm glad to hear that there was movement on other people's status checker. Went from under review 11/2 to under review 12/1. Hoping for some good news this holiday season. Best of luck to everyone else!
