I'm under review. 3.27/160/172neeko wrote:I think I sent mine in October 24th.
Maybe they only want people above both medians. I'm above 75th LSAT below 25th GPA. Is there anyone in review that is NOT above both medians?

Re: Wake Forest 2012
I've been under review since 10/18 and still haven't heard back. I wonder if they're planning on telling us all at the same time, or those who have been under review for a month already will hear back before those who just went under review. Regardless, I think that means that some decisions should be coming soon!

Re: Wake Forest 2012
There was a question on the application regarding "appearing before a prosecutor or investigate agency." I was a crime victim, and was therefore required to appear before the prosecutor to answer some questions regarding the crime. I'm sure they won't hold it against me, but it I've never had to answer that question on any of my other applications. It was slightly uncomfortable answering it, but I figure it's better to err on the side of FULL DISCLOSURE.JoeMo wrote:Traffic tickets are definitely the worst I've got. Never even been to the "principal's office" and most of the traffic tickets were from before I was 21.SteelyDan wrote:Really? I had to disclose them to several schools. One of them actually made me go to the courthouse and get something certifying the disposition of the ticket. Total pain in the ass.JoeMo wrote: No, I know. I haven't lied on my law school apps but none of the other apps ask about traffic tickets so I'm just wondering why Wake does require the traffic tickets to be disclosed.
But if traffic tickets are the worst you've got, you should be fine. At least you didn't get expelled from undergrad.

Went complete 11/3.
File under review 11/22 (I think, that's my latest stat update and it wasn't under review as early as Friday of last week).
GPA: 3.52
LSAT: 164
Hoping for the best.

I've been under review. WF C&F questions kind of pissed me off though.

Applied over Thanksgiving. Anyone heard back yet? Also, does anyone know much about things to do around the area. I know WS is pretty secluded, but how are the outdoor activities: hiking, mountain biking, trails, fishing, etc.?

Re: Wake Forest 2012
There are 2 state parks about twenty minutes away. One of them has a decent hike with a spectacular view. There are a number of trails outside of them, especially around Historic Bethabara. I've seen people mountain biking on them. I'm sure you can find a place to fish but it probably wouldn't be wise to eat what you caught.EMH99 wrote:Applied over Thanksgiving. Anyone heard back yet? Coming from one of the largest Universities in the U.S., I'm going to enjoy the rural feel and outdoors again.

I don't know about "rural," it's in the suburbs. Have you had a chance to visit yet?EMH99 wrote:Applied over Thanksgiving. Anyone heard back yet? Wonder if staff changes this year are delaying things? (Thought I had read that Melanie Nutt retired). Or maybe decrease in LSAT takers -> fewer applicants -> need to wait longer to get a better sense of applicant pool. Or maybe it's just aliens.
