I'm with ya. I wish I could be more optimistic but at this point I'll believe it when I see. Good luck! Btw what are you numbers? I'm over 75th GPA and median last

I'm a URM with mediocre/mediocre (pmed) numbers... I wish I were a splitter at this point. Emory is my reach; I've wanted to go there since before I knew what it meant to want to go there :(

Don't give up yet. They just sent out the third batch of acceptances yesterday. It could come any day this week.

Thanks.. and I am prepared to pay my deposit at another school while waiting away on Emory's waitlist if it comes to that... I'm dedicated... so I really shouldn't let the wait get me down... likely a lot of people will withdraw and I'm not a crazy reach - just a tippy-toe reach.

Has anyone seen anything about where/when we send our seat deposits? I've decided on Emory, and I'm sure they want my money.

I'm really looking forward to moving to Atlanta and getting started! Anybody else attending/leaning that way?

Has anyone had any luck negotiating scholarship money with Emory? It appears they go back and forth between a strict no-negotiation policy and a policy of "you're welcome to try, but...no." I called the admissions office to ask if there was in fact a no-negotiation policy and I was told that I should communicate with the dean directly with any scholarship concerns. I have a mostly completed letter that I'll be sending out sometime this week, but I just wanted to see if any of you had any success stories to share...

Thanks and good luck to everyone still waiting!

Grrrr. I was in the first wave of admissions and never got the admission packet (I called and they emailed me my scholarship letter, but I haven't gotten anything else).

I emailed Emory last week asking if I could get my scholarship increased, but haven't heard back from them. They don't have my fall marks and I got a new LSAT score that's two points higher than the score I was admitted with; I'm hoping those two items could make a difference. I'll send an email to the dean if that's where you were directed.

Got in with a 60K scholarship. Numbers in profile. I will be withdrawing as I'm getting 90K from BC and Emory does not seem like they are into negotiating. Hope you guys get my scholly!
