You can withdraw via that link they left.. I had to type it in manually b/c my link wasn't working for some reason but you can choose to accept or reject the offer to be on their waitlist.hookem7 wrote:WL email, responded with withdraw email

Yep. There's an option in the link to decline the waitlist once you login.Ga0-3L wrote:You can withdraw via that link they left.. Re: Emory c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
Hi – this is Ethan Rosenzweig, the dean of Admission and Financial Aid, at Emory Law. Just a quick update from our office:
Decision Notification: We are in the final rounds of decision notification this week. We will be sending emails to folks with their notification regardless of decision (admit, deny, or waitlist).
Waitlist: We sent some waitlist notifications out today. I thought it may be helpful to provide some background on the waitlist because I am well aware that questions arise. We use historical data to determine how many offers to make; however, in the past years, we have seen variations, and this data does not prove perfect. As such, we manage a waitlist to ensure that we have the appropriate size class with the strongest students possible.
We will admit people from the waitlist this year (and many with scholarship), and I encourage folks who are offered a space to accept a position on the list. This is also a great chance to submit a little more information about you to us through a letter of continuing interest. I read each submission, and I have to confess, some of my favorite students come from the waitlist.
Now, I know what many people think. “I do not want any additional uncertainty right now.” Here is what I always advise: If there is something about our community that is of interest, allow us the chance to admit you so you have all your options available.
If you are invited to the waitlist, I want to have the opportunity to admit you. I hope you provide us that chance.
As always, if you have any questions, please feel free to email us at admission(a)law.emory.edu.

Got the WL email this morning, I was pretty shocked
My link wasn't working as well, I just went to the Emory law website and found the link by searching "Wait List."
Good Luck to everyone on the WL, I'm definitely thinking of writing an LOCI

Did anyone who is now on the WL also receive the 'final review' email a few days ago?
