If it helps, I'm an international applicant, rejected by Email.

Re-checked the mail today: received a single letter on the 17th in a standard envelope and was accepted through ED. Stoked!

Don't know if this happened to anyone else - but my spam filter blocked emails from GW. Might be worth looking in there if you are expecting emails from them and did not receive.

Congratulations! Could you elaborate on what you mean by "standard"? I travel for work every week so I can't check my mail during the week and my roommate (whom I've driven crazy with my constant requests to check the mail) says I have a letter from GWU but it's plain white, regular-sized with navy/black writing. Patience is not a virtue of mine, waiting for my flight home is going to be torture today.

Not to get your hopes up or anything but my acceptance letter was just a plain envelope... So it could go either way

That's alarming. I thought if their deal was that if you applied ED and were accepted, you're in ED! Otherwise, I thought they would just put you back with the regular decision and let you know later. Now you're telling me it's possible they'll accept you regular even though you applied ED?

I just got my acceptance email, but still haven't received notice via snail mail (in CA). I applied ED, but I don't know if I was accepted ED or RD. Does anyone know if you can check your status on the accepted student's website?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I just got the same letter, same deal. My fault for reading too much into their ED application. I'm glad to be accepted, but no way can I afford (or would consider) sticker price. Good luck to everyone!!
