Congrats to everyone who got admitted today! Where does WCL rank for you guys when choosing a school for next year?
Between cost of living and tuition, it's about $200k for 3 years if I don't get any schollys or grants. Even with all these things, I'd say it's still pretty low on my list. I've been admitted to 3 schools already that I would choose over American. Even though I've been accepted, I'll probably withdraw shortly after my scholarship information is released. I haven't visited the school yet, so maybe my mind will change if I am given a lot of money and fall in love with the campus.

Applied PT...154/3.43...status updated on Thursday. Getting nervous with all of these acceptances coming in.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but my application online status has been stuck on "Incomplete, LSAC Issue" since early January. Thing is, I know it isn't incomplete. Is this simply because American hasn't updated the status check for me or should I call someone?

Edit: Nevermind, just read the earlier posts in this thread and think American is just sluggish in updating.

i don't know if it is just American being slow about updating though...before my application went complete it never said "Incomplete, LSAC Issue." You might want to call and see what exactly the LSAC Issue is just to be safe

When will we know if we've been awarded any scholarship money?

I think that's because my LSAT score was pending when I sent the application. I'll call just in case anyway.

Does anyone know about any off campus housing? Looking for apartments within the area or a little further off.

I'm from the DC Area, the Area around AU can be a little expensive, it really depends on your budget. AU offers a shuttle from the Metro to the Campus. I also know they are planning on moving the campus to Tenleytown, but idk where they are on that plan.

Already got my email acceptance last week, but got my snail mail letter today. The online portal process is... complicated.

I'm curious to see when financial aid awards come out.

I wonder if the American email that is generated is the same one we will have as students and if it can be changed... Because my email is a splattering of my initials and 4 or 5 random digits... Not an email I or anyone else would easily remember.

Anyone planning on going to the admitted students weekend?

I guess I should clarify... When you go through the online portal, it creates an email address for you.

i like the gmail but there's no GAL. And looking at the staff/faculty directory (weird there's no student directory (or it's separate)) people get normal usernames.

My complete date changed to 1/20 yesterday. I'm guessing we'll hear back when they release their next round of decisions, which should be...any day, I guess.
