Have patience my new friends...patience.

It's called "the waiting game" for good reason, and I can assure you that they are reviewing applications with due care. It's a grueling process for all involved. Also, it is only mid-February; I applied at the end of December last year and did not receive a decision until March. It seems they are well ahead of that pace this year, so just continue being patient. I think they are currently working through applications that went complete in early January, but that's not to say that every decision will be made in the order the applications were submitted.

I can tell you that your status checker and email are as updated as it gets. As soon as a decision is updated in our system, it is updated for you to see. Good luck and feel free to come visit a class if you feel so inclined!

Received my admission packet in the mail today, with a nifty bumper sticker. No sign of scholarship award though, which is a real disappointment.

Got my admission packet today as well. 20,500 for the first year. The second and third year requirements are a bit steep though to ensure holding on to the money though...top 25% of class. This makes tuition about 8k cheaper than UW.

Is it a game changer for you, or are you sticking with UW?

Counting on being top 25% is a risky endeavor. Plus I don't know what kind of need/merit based aid I will be offered since they seem to do this step for admitted students in a later process. I might be sticking with UW because I like the campus/area more, plus the added prestige.

I just received my admission packet. $17,000 for the first year, renewal for 2nd & 3rd year if I'm in the top 25% of the class. While $17,000 takes Seattle to a more affordable level, I just don't know that I'm comfortable with the stipulation.

In today, about time. Complete middle December. That was frustrating.

Now to wait and see what kind of scholarships are offered, but its nice to have choices.

If this is the Washington Scholars scholly, I'm pretty sure it's guaranteed. They'll also increase it to 22.5k in a couple weeks if you don't submit a deposit immediately (or at least they did for me).

Got my admissions packet yesterday along with my $3000 one time Community Service stipend. Called Financial services office, turns out "negotiation" is not a word they like to hear. I was informed that "reconsideration" is a more appropriate term. So much for getting a larger scholarship

Most likely going to be living with the parents ( :? ) in Bellevue for the first year if I end up going here. Still waiting on a couple of schools that could sway me, though.
