Anyone who wants Kiwi for President is most certainly a creep-o, just saying.

Was there someone dressed up as green-man. If so, I want pictures.

I really wanted to get a group together for drinks afterwards, so I was a little annoyed that the last thing they did was split us up for tours.

I was the DNA double helix tattoo in the front row that kept asking questions about the part-time program. (spoliers, I'll be enrolling part-time).

For those that missed it, the most informative part was easily talking to one former student and a panel of about 6 or 7 current students. They had a lot to say and it was really encouraging. I highly recommend you reach out to a current student.

Oh! I just saw an email saying they've made a webinar of the entire day, so definitely watch that! The former student spoke about third, and you'll see the panel of current students pretty easily, as they're all wearing red!

Edit: The current student panel was not included, but the former student was the Guest speaker in the first link. He starts speaking at about 9 minutes.

I saw you! I had deduced it was you, too, lol! not to be creepy or anything ha. I was in the row behind you. I left before the current students part though, is it on the videos? It looked like they skipped putting it on the webinar.

Hah I think everyone would recognize the double-helix person. I think one of the professors said something about you at one point.

That means I'll have no idea what you looked like haha. I didn't see the current student part on the website as a part of any of the videos. They're part of the Student Advocate group. Their website is here: http://www.law.uh.edu/organizations/advocates/

Hope that helps!

Lol yea, the Environmental Law Professor. I figured anyone who heard him call me out would maybe remember my tattoo. It's probably the most distinctive part of my appearance.

I'm kind of annoyed that we probably won't hear what the actual cost of tuition is before our seat deposits are required. I hope finaid gets on it and puts that info out at least a day or two before the 15th.

Thanks! Haaa I figured people would remember, my boyfriend kept speaking out at random times, and one of the professors grilled him about whether an opinion could be wrong. :?
I am, too, especially since Baylor just turned me down for an increase in merit aid. They are going to be roughly the same CoA depending on how much UH increases tuition.

If it makes you feel better, I have no idea who your boyfriend was. And is he also going to UH Law? From what you've said it seems that he was pretty interested...

Lol was he the, "What if I said that water bottle is diet coke?" guy?

I don't remember what he looked like (or you, as y'all were behind me), but I remember that exchange.

Waco <<<<< Houston. Come be with us!

I second this.

I'm pretty sure I'm going to turn town my nice Baylor offer and bite the bullet to pay a little more for UH.

Haha yeah! The professor said that and he told him he was crazy lol. Then he kept badgering him and hes like "I don't know!!!" haha.
I probably will end up in Houston, just frustrated with their stingy scholarships.

I will be sending mine in on the 15th when it's due. I was really struggling deciding between Baylor and UH but my heart wants UH so I will go with that.

If you are really having a hard time deciding between the two consider this: Do you want to have a career in Houston or Waco?

That is one of the many factors why I am sending my UH deposit in.

So, despite objective data to the contrary, I'm a dumbass.

I had originally relied on US News when assembling my data sheet for schools to apply to. The first sentence of the summary read:
The Law Center at University of Houston has an application deadline of April 1.
The admissions breakout section also had April 1. I noticed the error on March 1 and promptly submitted my application with a letter of apology and a copy of the US News capsule.

Alas.

Still, no decision yet which is reasonable given my error. I assume I'm at the bottom of the pile. (Even more so because my residency questionnaire, though accurately completed, apparently caused some confusion.)

My only question is whether I'm completely alone in being such a dumbass?
