Is Vandy the only school that mails out rejections? Seems like a weird practice. Complete 12/7, interviewed around then too, still waiting for a mailing here.

idk... I kinda like it. I mean, you take a school like Havahd which rejects ~3500 people/yr, most whom paid $95 to get rejected. They easily gross between $200,000-300,000 off application fees. A letter is nice touch, it's like : "We appreciate your support and patronage," or "thanks for helping us to fund the education of the next generation of world leaders."

Sorry to all those rejected. I visited today and had a blast! Everyone is really nice - not just at Vandy but in Nashville too. I would encourage a visit if you like the school and have the chance.

Finally saw some movement on my app! Application received 11/17, Completed 1/11.

Is Vandy like other schools in that they post up an Under Review date as well?

No. It'll be complete then decision mailed.

Withdrew last week and received a really nice letter in the mail:

"Thank you for notifying us that you will not be attending Vanderbilt Law School. We will miss having you with us.

Many thanks to your interest in Vanderbilt, and best wishes for your education and career plans.

I am sure they send this to most/all of us that withdraw, but it is still a really nice thought. Vandy is such a good school!

My decision mailed date changed last year and got a WL. Didn't pay enough attention to see if it happened to someone else.

This is seriously unnerving. My application completed date is 1/11 and my decision made date is 1/12. I'm above the 75% on GPA, but below the median on LSAT, so definitely not an auto-admit....this can't be good news, can it?
