Interviewer emailed me on Monday to set up an interview, I promptly replied, and haven't heard from her since

Gah! Vanderbilt released decisions on 11/16 last cycle. I've been checking the status checker three or four times a day this week.

It would be an anxious wait if they release decisions right before Thanksgiving and the packages don't arrive until the next week.

Applying to Vandy has been hands-down the worst experience of the cycle so far.

Why?

Is that just because of your interview experience or were there other factors as well?

Didn't see anything about interview attire in the thread. Full suit and tie or are slacks and a jacket enough?

Oh Unam, you've totally missed it:

1). Interview lady was super angry. Criticized every answer I made. And, then made political digs at the Congressman I worked for.

2). I emailed Interview Lady my resume. During the interview, she said she never received it, and asked me to send it again. So, I did.

3). The evil snake emailed me yesterday saying how it's "unfortunate" that I'm "not responsible enough" to email a "simple" resume.

I'm not getting into this school.

My interviewer e-mailed me and said that casual wear is good, they were going to be in jeans. I think it's going to depend on the the person you are interviewing with, but I don't think a full suit would be necessary at all.

What the hell? Honestly, I'm sure it's their loss. Hope things work out for you!

You should have responded how unfortunate it is that people like her exist.

No suit necessary in most cases. My interviewer wore jeans and a sweater; I wore slacks and a tie under a sweater.

For sure, Im thinking/hoping that the school is good enough to consider the awesomeness of the rest of your app and admit you regardless of one person's impression. Good luck!

I hope so! I was complete really early (9/29 I think) so maybe they're going through it by completed date.
