It's great they've started making decisions, although my status checker still says nothing

They can't have made many decisions if only one person here has 'decision mailed.' When GULC and W&M started making decisions, there were at least half a dozen reports on the respective TLS thread within an hour or so.

Yeah i'm also a little skeptical too.

Will Vandy even look at my file before my interviewer sends in his report or do i just have to wait before my app is put in the pile?

Any indication on when we can expect to start hearing back from Vandy? According to LSN some people had heard by this time last year...

Wish I knew... but as long as no one has heard back I feel alright

My virtual VULS updated this morning to Decision Mailed 11/16. I live quite far from Vandy... so it might be a few more days before I see anything in the mail

Mine too! I think we can be fairly certain that we will receive acceptances via FedEx Express soon

I think the reason I got a decision so early is partly because yes, I have good numbers for Vandy, but I also had my interview really early and I think they do wait to review your file until the interviewer sends the report. My interviewer sent his report the day of our interview and he was really fast with everything, so I think that helped.

ETA: I flew to Nashville to do my interview on 9/23. I'm sorry to hear about LSP's terrible interview experience. Everyone at the actual school was extremely friendly. I wish there was some way to get you a different interviewer. :/

I haven't been through all of your posts on this topic, but you honestly need to contact the school and tell them after you've heard a decision. Definitely don't sound whiny about it (don't think you would anyway), but it's something they should be made aware of.

It was Fedex and the scholarship sheet said that merit-based aid was awarded in Feb.
