Guys, an email requesting status *may* have prompted a quick decision for my file. Give it a shot.

Would anyone who sent an e-mail mind sharing or PM'ing the general substance of it? I feel like anything I send would have too much of a "what's going on over there" tone to it. Thanks.

I sent mine yesterday and got a rather quick response. I just emailed them expressing my continued interest and wondering where my application was in the review process. I had actually sent them an additional email weeks earlier, to which I received response stating I would receive a decision by mid-Feburary, which has obviously come and gone. Anywho, this latest response indicated that my application was still in review (completed mid-Nov. no less) and that a decision would be made in the next few weeks.

Status complete since 11/19. Definitely talking a about a reach here but I have seen one or two people with similar numbers on LSN get in. I just hope we all here back before deadlines to Southwestern and Chapman lol.

So I just called the admissions office to see where my application was (that I submitted in November), and I was told that a decision had been made, but they had to submit it to be sent through a committee review type of process. Does anyone know what this means or if they send both ac eptances and rejections through this process? Thanks!

Laughable I know, but 153, 3.67 and I applied to PT/FT. I would have thought that I would be rejected right away but now I'm confused since its taking so long and I didn't know if the review process could possibly mean an acceptance by some miracle?

At this point I guess I'm just happy that I'm still in the running... But the wait really sucks.

I'm feeling the same way. I understand if I had applied in January or later, but since October? Rolling admissions? Yeah right.

Just understand that your so-called "scholarship" will be paid for by your classmates.

I believe they'd rather prefer it goes to fellow students than fill the university's coffers!
