Very Strong LORs (professors were eager to write one for me and told me what/how they would write)
International student, but went to UG in the states.

I'm a long time lurker (registered recently) but thought to post my stats in hopes that it'd be of any help to others.

Good luck everyone!!

Congrats!

Only one person heard yesterday? Strange

hey just to settle the scholarship issue, I got a separate letter today with merit scholarship info about 3 days after the admissions packet came in the mail.

My feeling is that if you apply before Christmas, you have a shot at the full amount of scholarship you would have been eligible for had you submitted in October.

But I don't work in admissions.

If you are asking about the full scholarship early decision, the answer is no due to being past deadline. If you are asking about having a shot at whatever scholarship you would have had before, I don't really think there is any way of knowing that. I would say apply now rather than not applying at all, but if you are looking at ED for full scholarship, you will have to wait for the next cycle.

RD. I applied early November.
I don't remember the exact dates, but I had three status updates I believe -- mid Nov, 12/5, 12/8. And 12/9 said Decision Made with Congratulations! message on top.
I got an email because I had my international number in the app as I'm currently visiting my family abroad.
BTW, no mention of scholarship. I don't believe international students usually get one

It is based on merit so you would be just as eligible as the next guy for merit scholarships. People were saying that they got a separate letter in the mail so there is still hope.

Not a whisper! I'm surprised there hasn't been anything really after that first wave. It seems like a few international students have gotten the call this week, but that's it.

Same here (ED, last updated 12/5). I think I have gotten more calls from numbers I don't recognize/don't have in my phone in the last week than I have in the last year.

I'm hoping we all hear in the next week, but the good news is that we have to hear in the next nine days! That could feel like an eternity, but think of it this way: at least you know it is in the next nine days, as opposed to hoping you hear every week for the next... who knows how long? :)

Good luck!

No one knows what they're gonna want for ED, you might have a shot. Best thing to do is take your mind off it any way you can
