Just looked... like 2 people posted about getting them on 3-22 / 3-23. Then one on 3-31... then just a couple RIGHT before the deposit deadline. So um... yea :? :?

I will say I hate this random "idk if you'll get a scholarship or not, jsut check your mail every day for 2 months" approach

Umm from what I've seen, most of the schools I applied to had the first deposits due in April- some as early as April 1st (Baylor) and some statement of intentions due (William and Mary's).

statement of intentions are totally legit as are verbal agreements. but im pretty sure binding agreements arent supposed to happen until the end of april or at least april 15? but i could be making this up. i vaguely remember reading about this on asha's yale blog, but i could be remembering wrong.

It looks like all the 167s got admits yesterday. I wonder what that means for us with slightly lower scores who are still waiting? And btw, who IS still waiting, I'm curious? (good luck)

I am still waiting, but I am just stuck at 1/26 complete, i submitted my app at the end of december but they did not mark it complete until Jan 26. Super frustrating!

I submitted same time. Complete 1/5, updates 3/5. My gpa is 75th but LSAT is below median. Good luck

Oh no, sorry to hear. Good luck. I'd really love to know a fly on the wall in an admissions office.

You and me both man. I'm gunna be away from internet/phone access for 5 days next week for Spring Break; if I come back and still haven't heard anything by then I'm just going to go ahead and consider it a reject and make a decision between the few law schools I'm considering right now.

I was accepted yesterday and have a quick question concerning financial aid. What else do I need to fill out besides the FAFSA, which I submitted at the beging of Feb.? Do I need to fill out the Need Access form immediately or should I wait for my packet? I think I may qualify for some need based aid and don't want to miss the boat because I missed a deadline or something.

This shit is confusing as hell, or maybe I'm just an idiot.

It's not you, it's confusing as hell. Do the Need Access ASAP (especially since it's a nightmare and it'll take you a long time). Then you have to send them your tax returns. Here's their checklist:

1. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Student (and spouse, if applicable) information only
2. Need Access Form
Parent information is required if you will be under 24 years of age by December 31, 2012 or claimed as a dependent on your parents' federal income tax return.
3. Signed copies of 2011 federal income tax returns
Please include a signed copy of the 1040 form, all schedules and all W-2 forms for the applicant and the applicant's spouse, if applicable.
Parent federal tax returns are required if you will be under 24 years of age by December 31 or claimed as a dependent on your parents' federal income tax return.

It doesn't say how to submit them but I e-mailed them and they confirmed receipt so that should work.

Thanks man I appreciate it. If you are claimed as a dependant and won't be under 24 by Dec. 31 does that mean you won't receive any money even if you are paying for the full cost of your education?
