No you're right, for me it is mainly for ego-stroking purposes. But ever since Chicago saved me from rejection by putting me on the WL, I've become obsessed with throwing the perfect cycle(20 schools, no rejections). Although it probably is more like a no hitter than a perfect game, if you consider the 1 WL a walk.

Either way, I don't want to lose my no hitter in the bottom of the ninth.
