Does anybody know if there are any WL FAQs anywhere for GSU Law. I am on the Priority Waitlist but do not know really anything about the process. Will all Priority WLers be selected before regular WLers?

Is the price of Georgia State still considered a steal if you are an out of state student? I have heard it isn't guaranteed to obtain in state status. Can anyone comment on this? It would be a big help!

I'm starting to think it's more difficult to get in-state tuition than I had hoped.

Dr. Cheryl George and Financial Aid said something about working before becoming a student.
Deniennne Steele gave me an example of a Tuition Petition, but I don't know if the petition is to counteract what Dr. George/Fin. Aid said about working and etc.

Its notoriously hard to get instate tuition there esp if you are just going to GA to go to the school. Working there first helps or if you have a spouse that you moved with for a job. Good luck.

Although I am not attending, it was fairly easy to get in state tuition. I mailed in my husbands job offer with a start date (our marriage certificate, of course. If not married, you can use your job offer.
I also had to include our lease/mortgage showing we live in state, paystub, and a drivers license. Within a week, I received a waiver for the first year, and was basically told at the second year all you need to do is voice your intention of staying in the state.

Best bet, if you pay taxes here, you are a resident. Can't argue with the IRS.

Yes, that is my understanding after asking a similar question to the admissions office.

Are you sure about this? I read in last year's thread priority just meant you responded to the email saying you wanted to stay on.

Either way, I am calling later today and will report back my findings.

Did anyone receive a non-resident tuition waiver? I received an email stating I did, but it didn't really mention any stipulations, so I'm curious what the stipulations are. The email said they were mailing the offer, but I haven't received anything in the mail and I don't know if more info about the waiver would be included or was the waiver as simple as that.

Any insights?

I just withdrew, so someone on the WL should get my spot.

Anyone know the day the last seat deposit is due? Just trying to figure out when they might start pulling people off the waitlist.

I think there was only one seat deposit due. I was accepted sometime late February, my deposit was due April 15th. I suppose people who were accepted afterwards have different deposit deadlines--don't know their deadlines.

I called to check on my wait list status and was told they have been pulling from the list already. Just FYI.
