Status checker indicated I was accepted 6 six days after I submitted my application. My application was complete 4 days after I submitted.

I went complete just a day or two before the first wave of acceptances, so for me it was a little over two weeks waiting for the next wave (I got in Friday).creigar wrote:for people who have been accepted already-about how long did it take from the time your application was complete?

Man I'm so disappointed hearing all you lucky scholly people. I have extremely similar numbers to yours (1 point lower on LSAT, .3 higher on gpa), and I didn't get squat. It's not that I expect or even really want a large scholly since I'm in state as well, but I was hoping to see some love from UGA.murray18 wrote:congrats! But not to be too big of a debbie downer, congrats on your acceptance and $$!! Jealous if you can't tell!

Re: Georgia c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
from what it seems, UGA is pretty good about awarding money throughout the cycle, so i have a hard time believing i got $$ and you won't... good luck to you!
also, im an undergrad at UGA if anybody has any questions about the school or athens. ive been here for almost four years, and have lived all over town so im pretty well versed on which neighborhoods are good, which bars are good (or the best kind of bad), etc. etc.

I went complete on 11/8 and immediately under review, no change since then. Starting to get worried, but I guess there's still hopejabberwock12 wrote:I applied 9/25 and just got in on 12/2 so don't be worried if you haven't heard back for a while!creigar wrote:for people who have been accepted already-about how long did it take from the time your application was complete?

Hey, just got my acceptance in the mail. No scholarship awards. My stats are 167/3.47...any chance for in-state equalization for the first year or even a scholarship later in the cycle?

Probably a decent shot for tuition equalizer since it seems like everyone got that who had numbers above one median, scholarship later in the cycle - probably not.JuneLSATFail wrote:Hey, just got my acceptance in the mail. Is there anyone out there who has been under review for over a month? I am sure my LSAT is probably holding me back, but I still wasn't expecting UGA to take so long. I'm getting a bit worried now...

I submitted the day after and haven't heard either. Someone else posted that they got a status checker two weeks after submitting, and it already indicated acceptance when they got it.john1990 wrote:Sent my application out on 12/5 and still haven't gotten an email back from UGA yet

UGA has a unique status-checker system. If you create an account on the UGA website, you should be able to check your status before receiving any emails from UGAgavinstevens wrote:I submitted the day after and haven't heard either. Re: Georgia c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
UGA does do rolling admissions but they do it in waves. There have been two waves so far, I believe. One was around 11/15 and the other was on 12/2-12/5. So if you submitted on 12/5 then your app is likely going to be ruled on in the next wave (which I'm guessing will be around 1/1, based on last year's thread).john1990 wrote:Sent my application out on 12/5 and still haven't gotten an email back from UGA yet
