Meh - my application has been under review for exactly a month. They didn't make any decisions until early December last year, so it's likely we all have a long time to wait.

After speaking with someone in admissions about my application, apparently some very early decisions are to come out within a week or two. I applied in early October btw.

Just as an FYI, the law school renovation just completed today, and it looks awesome!

On a more legitimate note, I'm a 2L at UGA if anyone has any questions.

I've been under review forever. I hope I get one of those early decisions.

It seems like last year they made their way through in-state applicants first. Don't know it that'll hold true this year, but maybe it'll provide a little comfort to some (read: me).

From reading through last year's thread, they apparently updated people's status tracker's with "accepted" even before sending out decisions through snail mail. Not sure if this will be similar this year obviously, but as opposed to other schools currently, I can't stop checking my status for UGA right now.

also, i'm too lazy to find the thread, but somebody made a desktop app for windows that keeps up with all of your status checkers. i havent tried it (only have two pending applications, and one of their status checkers is "broken"), but it might save some of you guys some time.

Yeah I saw that. I'm trying to stay away from checking any of my trackers now that I'm complete in all of my schools, it'll just drive me crazy. Would really like to have one acceptance though soon, it'd take a lot off my mind, so I can't help but checking.

If anyone is interested in photos from the renovation, the school put a LOT up. It shows a lot of the law school (except the library, rotunda, and classrooms).

Successfully solicited a fee waiver this morning.

Yay! Me too - via status checker, 174 / superior, with ties to Georgia.

I applied a few minutes after the application became available for submission.

Yeah via status checker as well. 167/~3.3. Applied 10/10, so good to finally have an acceptance so I can stop stressing so much!

I guess the next question is when UGA will start sending scholarship information. On LSN, it looks like they started to accept people from 12/07 last year, and some people got scholarship letters in late December (23, 27). Since they've accepted people earlier this year, I wonder if they will send out scholarship letters earlier, or if those will stay on the same schedule.

Weird that it's a month earlier than last year and our status checkers say 2014 lol. Hope it's for real.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?
