Just got my letter in the mail! 20K for the 3.15 contingency. Guess my 6 day wait for the Deans' letters was just a fluke.

I too received 40K a year (=120K total). I was expecting some scholarship money, but not this much. This, plus my growing love for W&L's administration, definitely is leading to some deep thinking.

I was admitted back in early Nov.

I'm a non-URM and above 75% for both LSAT and GPA. I do think, though, I had some compelling "soft" factors, but who really knows what the committees actually like reading.

Congrats/good luck to everyone else!

For as much as I bitch about being solicited by school... I guess it works sometimes

I didn't even think about W&L until an e-mail about free app / researched it briefly and decided to include it

Seriously interested in it now, the more I go along the more I like it lol

Man this is a bummer, I'm in the same range and from LSN figured this year a 164 was all that it would take. Seems like 166's with lower GPAs have been accepted so hopefully WL breaks your way.

I'd say you have a very realistic shot of getting off the WL

Agreed. I think W&L is placing a bit more weight on GPAs this cycle and maybe applying early. I was in the first batch of acceptances with a 163/4.0. Hang in there!

She received 22 k a year
There have been two 40 ks a year posted (wit 3.25 stip)
One 15 k a year

The rest have been all 20 k (what I received as well)

All stips besides the 40 k's have been 3.15 (which is in top 70 % of class).

I'd predict a 20 k for you, that seems to be very popular

I am out of town for training for my new job/promotion. I get home tomorrow and will be able to see my letter, but the wait is killing me. I don't think I'll get anything, so I'd rather just know and not get my hopes up.

Anybody get scholarship with numbers similar to 166/3.22?

I feel like you'll be somewhere from $20-25K/year with those numbers. I am noticing a GPA trend and ~3.4.-3.6 is getting that award unless their LSAT is below median. ~3.7 and above seems to be getting a large chunk of change unless their LSAT is below median.

I hope you're right! I have 165/3.7 and a nice chunk of change could definitely help my decision. I checked the mail today though and I still have nothing :(

Does anyone who has received scholarship info live in Florida? I'm thinking the mail is just being slow because of the holidays.

In as of today. Got an email too about the scholarship timeline that says "...our second round of scholarship awards will be mailed on Friday, December 16th, and you will be included in this group." Not trying to be stupid, but does this mean I'm already in line for a scholly? Sorry if that's a stupid question, wording seems obvious but certainty/confirmation is an amazing thing.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
