Thanks! I couldn't tell if I was being trolled hard or if he was honestly being serious.

The guy just opened his account and the few posts he has are just asshole comments. Something tells me he is either a moron looking to get a rise out of people or a failed law school student with built-up resentment.

I figured it was just Stephen Bloom. #hatersgonnahate #iowaobservations

Thanks! Yeah it was. I'm sure being an Iowa resident helped out a lot. Still SO excited. Work today = impossible.

Exact same dates and was accepted early this morning (8:30). The day is still young so I think you're alright.

:) In! It's 4:50 AM so I think it's not really sinking totally in yet. (I'm in Korea.)

It'll be a tragedy I can't make it to Iowa most likely for ASW cause I'm stuck in Korea till June... but definitely going to spend hours and more hours pouring over information about Iowa.

I was admitted a few days ago, but I just noticed that my status checker updated the complete date to today.

Has that happened to anyone else? Could it possibly deal with scholarships?

I just received a scholarship by e-mail! $137,520, out of state + Research Assistant offer. Comes with stips of top 37.5% Any word on being able to get those stips removed?

I want that!

Congrats all around!

ETA: are you out of the country? Just curious about how often I should be checking my email.

I was accepted 11.30. I like the offer, but I don't think I could take it with having to be in the top 1/3 of the class!

I am in the US. The e-mail said a letter was on its way.

I too just got, well about 20 minutes ago, the same e-mail! I am very excited! That top third of the class seemed daunting, but perhaps with more information it would be manageable.

I am OOS and interpreted that by doing the research, I'd be able to get the same full OOS tuition rate, but only pay in-state tuition. Did anyone else interpret it that way?

The research sounds great...my master's degree will come in handy!
