Iowa, Drake, Minnesota, Illinois, and Marquette. Even if I get accepted to Minnesota, Illinois, or Marquette, I am really only considering Iowa and Drake. It might be because of TLS, but I felt stupid only applying to 2 schools.Iowa, Drake, Michigan State, and W&M. You?

Haha!! Me too! I'm primarily applying to MSU to see where it gets me, but I'm not going to move to Michigan. W&M is more of a dream school to me. I wouldn't go there unless they offered me big money and by some freak chance I get denied at Iowa. Iowa and Drake are just much more reasonable choices for my situation.shredderrrrrr wrote:Iowa, Drake, Minnesota, Illinois, and Marquette. Illinois and Minnesota will help for, if nothing else, scholarship negotiations possibly.shredderrrrrr wrote:Iowa, Drake, Minnesota, Illinois, and Marquette. I'll apply to some more peer schools for Iowa if they send waivers. Maybe IL will be short on apps this year and will kick me a waiver.
Got my aces status checker too. Which one is the good one?

Aces is the one you'll check regularly. ISIS will have "official" stuff such as residency, admissions decision, deposits paid, etc... But for admissions it will be much slower than Aces.Opie wrote:I'll apply to some more peer schools for Iowa if they send waivers. Maybe IL will be short on apps this year and will kick me a waiver.

IL is waiving their app fee for everyone this year.Opie wrote:I'll apply to some more peer schools for Iowa if they send waivers. Maybe IL will be short on apps this year and will kick me a waiver.

Looks like Drake offered an Opperman scholarship today for those who are interested. http://lawschoolnumbers.com/Hawklaw3
I don't think he'll take it though.
ETA: did we ever find out what UIUC's real numbers were?

Re: IOWA 2012
What's up with the early decisions? I thought Drake didn't review apps until Jan. Regardless, there is no way he'll take it. He'll be going T14 with money or Iowa full ride. Hopefully it's not just wishful thinking on my behalf. Leave the Opperman scholarships to us more normal-numbered kids!Looks like Drake offered an Opperman scholarship today for those who are interested. http://lawschoolnumbers.com/Hawklaw3

He's already in at Duke and Georgetown, so I hope he withdraws soon.shredderrrrrr wrote:What's up with the early decisions? I thought Drake didn't review apps until Jan. Their median was 163. Don't remember what GPA was.Opie wrote:D'oh! Law app fail. Do you know when you went complete? I'm above 75th LSAT and below 25th GPA. Maybe they don't want to deal with low GPA yet.apeopleshistory wrote:"In review" I'm not a resident. I'm sure that it is because you're a splitter. They can't look at splitters until they accept some people first and know what the numbers look like.neeko wrote:Well this sucks for me then.

I've been complete since 11/3...I know with my numbers (despite my residency) I'll at best get waitlisted. I just hope I can get off of it quickly.

Aaaaaandd, Illinois app in. I can't believe I missed that it was free. I probably wouldn't go there, but maybe I can get some scholarship leverage out of them.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
