Anyone received a full financial aid award letter? The woman I spoke with in the office there said that they are on hold because of the elimination of subsidized federal loans, but my first deposit is due May 1. I'd like to see my full financial aid package in writing before I commit to anything. I received the small scholarship, but no other info.

My letter said that they were going to make a decision on financial aid soon and let me know later, so I'm really confused. I sent an email asking about it yesterday so I'll let you know what they say.

How much did you get?

I wonder the same thing. I was held for second review after being in committee twice, then changed to in committee two more times afterward. Fourth time was today.

I'm still sitting on a 2/2 current status date. This is the worst, haha

Mine was in committee 2/7 and then changed dates to 4/14 and I got my admittance via checker on 4/17. I think if your date changes multiple times, it's a good sign that you are admitted.

They sent out an email stating that all decisions whether acceptance, rejection, or wait list will be decided by sometime next week.

Waitlisted yesterday by e-mail. I filled out their wait list response form, and I am only interested in full time.

Did you get a response stating that or did they just ignore you? Sorry about this but I hear SCU is stingy with $$$

That's an understatement! I got more than double $$ from the University of Minnesota who out ranks them by like 70 spots.

To be fair, everyone I have emailed with has gotten back to me very quickly, so there's that... but they told me they re-reviewed my file and were unable to give me any money. No other explanation. I sent another email, but not sure if it's overkill. The worst they can say is no, yet again.

Where did you send the e-mail to? I sent a message to the general law admissions e-mail asking about money and I haven't received a response (sent it about a week ago). Did you receive your financial aid papers? I think we got accepted about the same time..

I sent it to the financial aid office and they forwarded it to the right person. The people behind the financial aid email are pretty quick with responses.
