Did you tell them that you would honestly consider going there? They probably think there is no way you are going there.

I weaved a "Why SCU" into my PS. If they read my PS, they'd have figured it out. :-)

"Decision Mailed" today. All my deposit numbers are still zeroes with no $ amounts...does this mean I'm rejected, or held for further review, or neither and I should stop freaking out?

I'm still "In Committee" since 11/10. Good luck!

They seem to be releasing in very, very small batches. Has anyone actually been accepted yet?

I don't think anyone has been accepted yet - at least if they have, haven't posted here or LSN. Seems like they are way behind compared to last year though.

RaleighStClair I don't think it means 100% that you're rejected. I looked at the thread from last year and some people who were accepted still had the $0 seat deposits.

Yeah I guess it's not completely because of the deposit numbers, more because there have only been rejections so far, and my numbers are borderline.

So no EA applicants have a 'Decision Mailed' yet? Bummer.

Does yours say something different than in committee, or your date changed twice?

me neither - I went back and looked at the board from last year, and this year is WAY different...seems strange :/
fingers crossed for an acceptance - my GPA is above their 75th and LSAT is in their range..

So it seems like if I was going to be held for a 2nd review, then it would probably say that in the status checker, right? That actually makes me feel better about getting a decision mailed, unless they reject people from EA right off the bat?

right - it would say that! I also saw on last year's thread that someone who had a "Decision Mailed" called up the admin office and they told them via phone. You may want to try that - it's only 4:17P on the west coast (not sure where you are).

Good luck :)

Just tried calling, haha. They said I should have the decision before the end of the week, but they can't tell me over the phone. :/ I sounded like such a loser. Whatever.

AWh I am so sorry!!! I promise on the thread last year someone posted that they gave them an answer over the phone - my plan was to call as soon as mine said Decision Mailed!

Fingers crossed for you!!

WOW I'm worried I applied EA, I've been in committee since 11/5 !!! Holy Hannah !!! What are they doing? I'm so worried my GPA is way way way over their 75th percentile (3.9 in hard science) and LSAT is a point or two lower than their 25th percentile. I have work experience and good soft factors (see my profile if interested). I'm dreading a rejection/ defferal! Think we will hear back before christmas? COME On SCU ! You're killing me
