I submitted on 9/30 and went complete on 10/17. No dollar amounts, so I'm guessing it's a no.

Not necessarily, check out the thread from last year. Some of them were admitted and seat deposits still said $0

Has anyone visited the campus yet? Any thoughts about it?

It is probably the cleanest campus I've ever been to... EVER. It is a very small campus, though. I'll see if I can get some pictures posted.

hmm...A small campus might be a good thing since we're just using the law facilities anyways. I browsed the main website for the undergrad and the campus looks pretty. The palm trees are a nice touch : )

The campus is gorgeous! So pretty - but yes it is small :)

My status checker still says In Committee as of 11/9

Dobut we will hear anything over Thanksgiving break - boo, more waiting!

I spent an afternoon there this fall walking around Santa Clara University. I had expected that the photos in its catalog were unrepresentative of the campus, and was very happily surprised to learn that it all really does look that pretty. Also, there is a Caltrain station right next to the campus, so trips into San Francisco from there are probably pretty easy.

How are the facilities, such as the law library? my friend who is a 1L there said it's getting old and grungy. he said a lot of law students did all their studying at the main campus library, which is new.

I'm hoping to drop by the bay area in the winter time to check out hastings, scu, and usf.

My current status says "Decision Mailed(11/18)" and haven't heard anything yet.

Although I see '"1st deposit, 2nd deposit and Seat deposit", the dollar amount is 0.

Omg...I am freaked out!! Has anyone received a decision yet?

I've spent some time on campus as well. The Stanford dean once quipped that Stanford was like going to law school in paradise, and Santa Clara is very much the same!

Just received a solicited waiver. It's the only school within an hour's drive of where my folks live, so I figure I might as well apply. I'd save a lot on housing, but it'd be such a shitty commute.

This is pretty much same reason why I applied too.

Gah... I hate schools that overlook applicants that have overly great numbers... Just found out via status checker that they've decided to hold me over for a decision... How is a 3.78/177 not good enough for an auto-admit?

That's so weird... so they are not gonna give you a decision until like early next year? (I'm assuming you applied EA)

I was told a decision will be made sometime between now and April 1st, but I'm not waitlisted... just held over for further review.

Blatant yield protect. Are you seriously considering SCU with those numbers?

I have family there that may need me to move back, and if I don't get into Stanford or Berkeley, yes, I would seriously consider SCU.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
