That's REALLY odd.... When I sat down with dean Cavallari last month, she was very specific on saving an additional 10k/year (on top of my scholly) by jumping through the VA residency hoops.

I got in off the waitlist too. I flew out there about a month ago to go visit with Dean Shealy personally and express my interest.
I also sent a LOCI, another rec letter and Phi Beta Kappa acceptance.

Probably neither haha, I just couldnt justify W&M over Alabama or UMN and I didn't want to hold a seat because I know that there are people who are waiting to get in

And they're not going to just let me hang on to that seat and 12k all summer if I don't commit to attending because there are plenty of other qualified applicants on the waiting list

So, instead of completely closing the door on W&M I asked to be put back on the waiting list just in case somehow more $$ were to become available to me. Like if someone who is all set to attend W&M backs out at the last minute and had a lot of $$
