It's probably not YP. I'm 173/4.04 and was accepted 3 weeks after applying.

I also received the keychain and notepad in my second mailing from W&M.
did you respond to the first mailing?
No, not yet. I'm waiting for my other decisions to come in before I say anything one way or the other. The first mailing was the one with scholarship, letter of congratulations, and pamphlets. The second one with the keychain and notepad included a list of fun things they do at W&M, like "bar" reviews. Every week they review a local bar. :D
I only got the first one in dec! How long between the mailing?

About a week. If you haven't received the second one yet it's probably on its way. :)

In this morning via email, went complete 1/16.

Received the email at 6:50 central so you know they made the decision last week and made us wait on it (though waking up to an acceptance is a great way to start the week).

Anyone know if they send packets to current or perm. addresses?

I'm with you. Will W&M deliver a cluster of acceptances at once, or will they continue to admit students here and there? If they do cluster, when is the most likely day?

Also, does anyone have any good pictures of the school/the gradplex?

Some links to photos here: http://top-law-schools.com/forums/viewt ... x#p4247720

I read the gradplex can be fun, and it's convenient to the law school, but I don't know how they match flatmates or whether you can make requests. You may end up with an international student calling home at 4 a.m. every day.

Thanks for the heads up. It seems like most of the off campus housing are a couple of miles from the campus. Any current students think it's worth staying in the gradplex because of the shear proximity to the law school?

If I can get matched with the girl in the pink sweater from the pictures, I'll stay there for sure.

As for going complete multiple times, a few people have mentioned that. It's normal from what I can tell. Seems to be happening to several people. Some have theorized it is when different reviewers are looking at your app.

Another kinda OCD admissions question:

Has anyone gotten an acceptance email or "Congratulations!" Letter added to their mailings list outside of the early AM hours? It seems most of this stuff gets done between the hours of 7-9am EST. If that's the case, then I won't be manic about my email/status checker outside of those hours...

i would definitely not waste the energy obssesively checking your status checker since i only noticed my status checker changed after i received the acceptance e-mail. i also received the e-mail around 10 CST though so i'm not sure how this is going to help your nerves haha sorry!

If you don't mind my asking, have you decided on another school?

How long are people having to wait for mailings after receiving the email?

My city has the worst post office in the country (I'm told it's official from a study)!

It took 2+ weeks for one of my recommendation form to travel 140 miles to my professor!
