Can't seem to find the info about setting up your UF online account (whatever it is called, GatorLink I think?), don't see anything about it on the admitted students page. Anyone mind explaining the process?

I did. Maybe because I already have an account from grad school at UF.Fletcher Reed wrote:Did everyone get their financial aid info updated or are some people still waiting??LSATmakesMeNeurotic wrote:I just got my financial aid info updated online. Awesome, found it. Has my merit and need based awards showing as accepted. Should I start the process of taking out stafford loans? As sad is it may sound, this is my first time dealing with financial aid for my education. Was lucky enough to have my parents take care of all that paperwork beforeUMiamiCane wrote:http://www.isis.ufl.edu/Geaux12 wrote:Where are ya'll seeing this information?MichNole19 wrote:Mine has updated as well...new to the university but I did accept a grant so perhaps that played a factor in mine updating

I logged into ISIS and when I click financial aid it asks for student permission to pay UF charges. I sent my FAFSA a couple months ago and do not have Merit or need based scholarships. Does UF email you when they have compiled your loan information?

Grant them permission, because that will affect your loan disbursements later. They normally email you when they have compiled your information. I actually noticed the grant I got a few days before they emailed me, but they're usually good about it.Its Always Sunny wrote:I logged into ISIS and when I click financial aid it asks for student permission to pay UF charges. Me too it was the first update since 3/29/12 I agree. I suppose they are going to see who will drop a deposit and figure it out from there. Im thinking that Im either going to get an admission or waitlist at this point.lynzl84 wrote:Date was updated to 4/12/12. Still FRNDR. Already have, I believe they need it to give out need based grants. I just mean when do I say "hey, I want $XYZ in stafford loan money"?UMiamiCane wrote:

Still no update since 2/22...This makes me feel like they really just do not care whatsoever about the prospective students who are waiting.mwilson37 wrote:Me too it was the first update since 3/29/12 I agree. and fill out a Promissory Note, do the entrance counseling, and request a GradPlus loan if you need one of those.

Buck up the ASD is today and I think they are looking at what deposits they get in before they decide what to do with us. Its frustrating putting down deposits at schools that are clearly not my first choice but I guess such is life. Im guessing Monday we should hear something.beachy wrote:Still no update since 2/22...This makes me feel like they really just do not care whatsoever about the prospective students who are waiting.mwilson37 wrote:Me too it was the first update since 3/29/12 I agree. I'm from Florida and plan on living and practicing here after law school. Maybe I just answered my own question? lol

You did. Browse TLS for a little while, pick up the conventional cynicism, you'll probably be able to answer most of your own questions.AndrewMSH wrote:cost with schollys = basically the same. (cheap)

Got a letter in the mail yesterday with a 7k scholarship offer. ASD was everything I expected. Sending deposit this weekend. Glad to be done.
Seriously? What are you waiting for?
Now there's a charge.
