Everyone gets it. Word of warning, though: you'll most likely be there for awhile. Mine's been stuck there for almost 3 weeks, and people were there for months.

"File Reviewed, No Decision Reached" is probably the worst automated message a law school gives to its applicants.

People who got scholarships, mind posting your numbers?

It seems from looking at recent years that the amount of a scholarship is based on numbers, but who receives scholarships may be based on soft factors or perhaps even complete randomness.Geaux12 wrote:This. Not the worst status: I have been "complete at FSU for 3 months and nothing has changed since I went complete. I have a 161 3.44 so I do not know what the deal is there. Just saying FRNDR is not the worst.

My boyfriend just got a scholarship this round! So excited for him and now Florida is looking more affordable for both of us.
This might be a long shot but does anyone know if the higher scholarship offers trickle down to the lower offers as people withdraw? I'm just struggling to justify turning down a full scholarship at a different school because I really want to go to Florida even if I'll still have to pay half of the tuition.
Oh and for those wondering..
My stats are on my profile and I have 9k/yr
His LSAT is a point lower and has 7k/yr

Remember when evaluating cost for attending Florida that 9k/yr is half tuition THIS year, but next year it will not be. Tuition next year should be 21k, and there's no garuantee that tuition won't be risen in later years. If you just account for next year's increase and assume that there won't be future increases, it adds 9k more to your overall COA than if you accounted for current tuition prices.
Not trying to rain on your parade but I think everyone should be realistic about tuition increases and how they will impact everyone's financial future.

18/19k. 15% increase expected next year makes it 21k for current 0Ls... just in 1L year. Who knows about 2/3L.Dream Machine wrote:What is tuition this year at UF?seancris wrote:Congrats!fLAWridagator wrote:My boyfriend just got a scholarship this round! I hope I get out of NDR hell soon, this is the last law school I'm waiting to hear from.

But at least with "Complete" you're not really being misled. With NDR, you get the impression the Committee is flummoxed with your Application and can't make up its mind about admitting you or not.seminole2011 wrote:Not the worst status: I have been "complete at FSU for 3 months and nothing has changed since I went complete. If you get a scholarship offer, does the status checker update and tell you a letter is on its way? Maybe I'll see it for myself one day.......fLAWridagator wrote:My boyfriend just got a scholarship this round! So excited for him and now Florida is looking more affordable for both of us.

I was wondering the same thing. I would think yes, being that every single one of my mailings in under my status checker (prospective student update, decision letter, welcome letter from the dean- though I got this letter the next day anyway). But maybe someone who has received a scholarship can tell us.VanillaBear wrote:If you get a scholarship offer, does the status checker update and tell you a letter is on its way? Nope. Didn't appear and still doesn't. Status checker makes no notice of a scholarshipUMiamiCane wrote:I was wondering the same thing. They must have done a new round of acceptances today, I moved into the FRNDR status.... I guess its better than being completely dinged at this point, right?
