Just got in with consideration for a scholar in law award. My status checker hadn't changed since 10/20, so there is still hope for those who are waiting.

Same here! Applied in December. Status checker still says complete though. How do we get our login for the admitted students website?

I've got tomorrow at 3:15. Would be nice to get it before Thursday: I'm getting my wisdom teeth taken out and I'd like to be fully salient when this news arrives.
Ew. It took them a long time to wake me up from the anesthesia (or whatever) when I got mine out. Worst experience ever. Good luck!

Isn't 3:42 the magical time in TLS?
Hoping we see some action tomorrow!

In other news... Rick Santorum won the Missouri Primary with 55% of the GOP vote, including St. Louis (city) with 35.7% so far (only 18% reporting)

You do know...that it wasn't the real primary, right?

I realize that. But it still functions minimally as a Missouri GOP public opinion poll. 55% is pretty significant, especially when it seems that Santorum won the support of every county as far as I can tell.

No, that is just...not true. Many Republicans didn't participate in the primary today simply because it didn't count. Additionally, you'll notice that come March campaigning in Missouri will become intensified compared to what you've seen in the past few weeks because it will actually matter. Today's results should not be taken as an overly reliable indicator of what is to come in March.

Ignoring the political talk to say that I'm probably months overdue on getting mine out at this point, so I think I need to start looking into getting it done this summer. Womp womp.

I think you are mostly correct. Gingrich wasn't on the ballot, which may have given Santorum a slight boost. Santorum has also been in Missouri, where Romney has not been focusing his machine there. Regardless, I was not commenting on what will happen in March, but as a current poll of sorts. I think your argument assumes that Romney's supporters were less enthusiastic than Santorum's in going to the ballot (removing Ron Paul from the equation, since his supporters are enthusiastic regardless), which is certainly possible and even likely. Nevertheless, there was a huge margin between Romney and Santorum that I believe requires more than "many republicans didnt participate."

The point I am really trying to make here is that I really hope WUSTL sends out scholarship notifications tomorrow.
