I think I'm also planning on going to ASW on the 27th. How long is everyone planning on staying in town for?

I'll be there Thursday - Saturday if anyone wants to get together.
Where is everyone staying?

I will be in town late Thursday-Sunday. I am from there so I am sure I will be going out Friday night with some friends if anybody wants some suggestions on where to go.
Also, it is supposed to get up to the high 50’s today in STL? I hope it is that warm on the 27th!

Everyone from TLS should where something discreet, like a red top, so we can identify each other on Friday

I go to UG here, so I'm trying to decide if it's worth going to an ASD. Anyone think it's worth it even if I'm familiar with the campus and law school building? (I'd have to miss an important five person class where the prof isn't super understanding, so that's why I'm hesitant.)

You get to sit in on a mock class and talk to students. Seems like you could already talk to students though. You also get to meet some people who might end up in your class if you matriculate. Up to you.fakehunter wrote:I go to UG here, so I'm trying to decide if it's worth going to an ASD. Anyone think it's worth it even if I'm familiar with the campus and law school building? Has anyone who was accepted received a package yet? Do we ever get one?

Do you live in STL? How great was the weather today? After a week of hell we finally got the upside of the crazy weather here.STLMizzou wrote:I will be in town late Thursday-Sunday. From there but currently live in Chicago. The weather is equally awesome up here though, keeping my fingers crossed that it lasts

I'm really counting on the scholly levels not changed from the years past, kind of banking upon at least 50K

Re: WUSTL c/o 2015 Applicants (2011-2012 cycle)
FINALLY got my apps in after waiting for my December LSAT score. WUSTL's one of probably only two schools I'm putting in an app where I think I'll probably be admitted. Still not sold on whether I want to attend, but we'll see.
Quick question: what's the scoop on scholly negotiations with WUSTL? I didn't apply to many similarly ranked schools, but I have fee waivers to ND and IU-B that I could submit if it'd help leverage money out of them. Any chance that'd work?

Based on what I've seen in terms of money from IUB, it probably wouldn't be worth it. It might help to have an acceptance from a similarly ranked school, but they don't seem to be throwing as much money around this year.tmon wrote:FINALLY got my apps in after waiting for my December LSAT score. I don't know about money, but as a URM with those numbers I think you have a great chance of acceptanceSarahT wrote:Still waiting patiently. Thoughts on likelihood of admission/money? 167 3.5 urm nontraditional undergrad work is legal studies with a 4.0 gpa.....

Having an LSAT of 167 makes looking at WUSTL's LSN graph incredibly depressing.
