Yeah I'm not too concerned, although your softs are clearly better than mine (and your GPA is higher, my LSAC GPA is 3.3).

I was referring to reverse splitters needing even better GPAs/LSATs than years past. I think this cycle will be a little better for splitters even with the drop in class sizes because like I said, there are less 99% LSAT scores than there are seats that need to be filled in the T14, let alone the T20

The only thing I think may go up is GPA requirements, because there are a lot of top schools all competing for less 170+LSATs than years past, so they will have to counter that with a whole lot of great GPAs. Doesn’t seem to be too big of a problem for WUSTL seeing as they have always been LSAT focused over GPA focused anyways, I think the magic 168 will apply this year as it has in recent years past (or so I keep telling myself every day an acceptance doesn’t arrive in my email).
I was thinking along these lines, and my crappy GPA is what concerns me. Of course, I still have the 170 LSAT, so I'm not in awful shape.
To echo scarlet, I wouldn't worry. I have a 2.8 and got in a few weeks ago.

I was speaking more generally than WUSTL-specific, though I do wish they would accept me already.

^Article has a quick blurb about WashU at the end about how they check social media when considering admissions. As a group of young professionals I am sure everybody ITT has taken the appropriate steps in their online activity, but just in case you haven’t, now might be a good time to start.

Was really hoping to hear before Christmas (11/14 innitial complete date). WUSTL seems to be moving slower this year than last (at least according to LSN).

Yeah I was hoping for the same (11/15).... I hope its just that they're moving slower this year and not that the news is bad, rejections don't come out till later...

In with 4.1/167. Does anybody know when they announce scholarship results?

I asked- got a nondescript reply about "they're considering". I think they want to keep it under wraps for now.

That ticks me off.... Ironically enough there's someone with the EXACT SAME NAME / AGE as me from the same smaller town, and yes his facebook and such pops up when you Google my name. Also, yes its a page filled with wanting to kill mothereffers and "witches" / along with how he sells crack to keep it hood, etc...

I'd imagine the quick Google search of my name and discovering this disqualifies me? Hardly fair, and I'd imagine I'm not the only one in this situation

There are other ways of distinguishing between you and this random dude...did he go to the same UG? Have the same job? I would hope WUSTL would be smart enough to go beyond name, age and town before judging that it is you.

Also, if you get rejected/ WL, you can call or email admissions and explain that if it was a social media search that was behind the ding that they may have made a mistake (maybe even include link to your real social media sites).

So, here's the deal...

I need to know why I'm stuck at 11/3.

I mean...seriously. At least look at my application.

I feel your pain I had a second update on 12/06 ....and nothing else. I'd guess not seeing any movement would have better than seeing some and then nothing.

I think that movement is always good, especially from a school that doesn't send out WL/Rejections until Mach. On LSN, the most recent acceptances are from late October/early Nov. complete dates, whereas last year they were into Dec. complete dates before Christmas, so I think they're just moving slower this year. We are definitely due for a big batch, I just hope that it comes sooner rather than later, and that WUSTL is not done for the holidays.

Honestly I never looked at it that way. I just thought I got a decent 1st review and then got stuck in limbo whether I'd be on or not. Hopefully tommorrow there is a fat batch of acceptances released. Definitely an early Christmas gift !!
