I was referring to reverse splitters needing even better GPAs/LSATs than years past. I think this cycle will be a little better for splitters even with the drop in class sizes because like I said, there are less 99% LSAT scores than there are seats that need to be filled in the T14, let alone the T20

I don't think they will necessarily go up, I just think because it is such a numbers game nobody wants to see their medians go down. The savvy schools see the drop in apps coming and know they must lower their standards, lower their class sizes, or raise their scholarships if they want to even maintain their medians.

The only thing I think may go up is GPA requirements, because there are a lot of top schools all competing for less 170+LSATs than years past, so they will have to counter that with a whole lot of great GPAs. Doesn’t seem to be too big of a problem for WUSTL seeing as they have always been LSAT focused over GPA focused anyways, I think the magic 168 will apply this year as it has in recent years past (or so I keep telling myself every day an acceptance doesn’t arrive in my email).

That ticks me off.... Ironically enough there's someone with the EXACT SAME NAME / AGE as me from the same smaller town, and yes his facebook and such pops up when you Google my name. Also, yes its a page filled with wanting to kill mothereffers and "witches" / along with how he sells crack to keep it hood, etc...

I'd imagine the quick Google search of my name and discovering this disqualifies me? Hardly fair, and I'd imagine I'm not the only one in this situation

There are other ways of distinguishing between you and this random dude...did he go to the same UG? Have the same job? I would hope WUSTL would be smart enough to go beyond name, age and town before judging that it is you.

Also, if you get rejected/ WL, you can call or email admissions and explain that if it was a social media search that was behind the ding that they may have made a mistake (maybe even include link to your real social media sites).

I feel your pain I had a second update on 12/06 ....and nothing else. I'd guess not seeing any movement would have better than seeing some and then nothing.

On LSN, the most recent acceptances are from late October/early Nov. complete dates, whereas last year they were into Dec. complete dates before Christmas, so I think they're just moving slower this year. We are definitely due for a big batch, I just hope that it comes sooner rather than later, and that WUSTL is not done for the holidays.

Honestly I never looked at it that way. I just thought I got a decent 1st review and then got stuck in limbo whether I'd be on or not. Hopefully tommorrow there is a fat batch of acceptances released. Definitely an early Christmas gift !!
