Love me, GULC.

the same... I am so nervous...

I had 11/10, 11/14, and no interview email, but haven't gotten an update to 11/17 (for better or worse). Hm...

I'm really confused as to why people get status updates that essentially update nothing except the date. What does this mean? I went complete as of 11/7 and I have had no other updates since...

Everytime an admissions official reviews your application they push a red button that changes the date

yeah, stuck on 11/7. Everything was received 11/2.

Me dos

My stuff was received 10/31, complete 11/1. Maybe it's because I'm borderline? 3.5/170. Stats for you two?

Same here. Stuck on 11/7. I'm a huge splitter, so I'm trying to prepare myself for a long cycle...

I'm a reverse splitter on 11/7. It's the freaking worst.

The worst part for me is that I'm going home from school for Thanksgiving break tomorrow, so I'll have no idea for over a week. :(

I'm not a splitter, but I'm at the median for both GPA/LSAT, and this is my second time applying (got rejected last year). My LSAT score went up 15 points from last year to this year's application though. No wonder they want to interview me.

IN at Georgetown today via snail mail!!! First acceptance of the cycle. SOOOOO EXCITED!!!

BTW, the letter is dated 11/14 so maybe that's good news for whomever has their status checker stuck on Application Completed as of that date. I'm an East Coaster so I think I got it earlier than most, but I'm sure lots of you have good news coming your way soon!

Submit date/numbers? If you don't mind sharing.

Congratulations, though!! Still waiting very, very anxiously for my first acceptance.

Ughhh my mail must just be really slow in Durham. Still stuck at 11/7, and an email I got from admissions (in response to an inquiry) implied that a decision has been made... But congrats!

Was stuck at 11/7 until about 3 hours ago, when I went 11/17. WTF does it mean? I'm predicting a Monday acceptance, since 20 days after my submission date (10/30) would be this Saturday. This seems in keeping with the timeline amc posted above: from 11/14 (last update) to 11/17 (letter) for him/her, hopefully from 11/17 to 11/21 for me? FWIW, I'm on the east coast as well.

Yeah...I'd like an explanation too. I'm guessing you emailed and asked if you could add anything to the application and they said no?

Small envelope with a really nice handwritten note from Dean Cornblatt.

Opinions wanted: My status checker only updated once to 10/11 and has not moved since. I am tempted to call them and ask if something is wrong/missing/idk. Is this a stupid or pointless idea? Or any ideas on what I should ask them if not?

If the status checker says you're at "complete" I don't think they'd be able to tell you anything.

Since your status date would indicate you submitted over 6 weeks ago, maybe you could call under the guise of trying to keep in touch, or wanting to make sure they know you are still very interested. It is still very early though.

As someone who has a status date of 10/31 complete, and that's all I have ever had, my impression is pretty much that my application didn't make it past the initial stage and I got denied. For whatever reason all schools seem to be slower to communicate dings than admits, but that is what I imagine to be my case. Not sure if anyone has any reason to believe otherwise, but I would think once the first pool of rejects come out, it'll evidence that those with apps that stagnate while others move forward are the rejects. Especially since there are those that have been admitted with dates complete after mine.

Disclaimer: This is my opinion, and based on nothing but the workings of my mind.

+1 Congratulations! I must confess this has gotten my hopes up, I am stuck on 11/14, here's to hoping!
