My status line has completely disappeared. Anyone else seen this? I'm on the preferred waiting list and just got asked to do an interview.

Thanks! I'm just extra nervous because I never thought I had a chance. This is my first choice, so I'm just excited I wasn't flat out denied or WL.imjustjoking22 wrote:Be relaxed and normal, have solid reasons for wanting to go to law school, and for Georgetown specifically. For some reason, the status box goes blank until your interview is complete.Timber wrote:My status line has completely disappeared. Anyone else seen this? I'm on the preferred waiting list and just got asked to do an interview.

Thank you for your words of encouragementabstract wrote: Based on my own experiences, I would say that you are about to receive some happy news. In the meantime, you need to be patient. Note that even after you have generated an ASW password, it may be days before you are able to log in. I was only able to log in after receiving my snail mail acceptance (granted, I am in DC, so the snail mail came quickly).
CONGRATS!

Hey guys, so my numbers are a 166/3.6 non-urm and I applied for FT/PT. Obviously, Georgetown is a reach with my numbers, but I got an email which asked me to come down for a group interview. Realistically for those more in the know than I am, is this interview worth the trip (I am relatively nearby) or am I staring at a probable ding/wl regardless? Basically, I guess what I'm asking is just how much it means to receive an interview request. Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

This has been brought up a few times through the thread, so if you want more details I'd suggest looking around, but, from what I see, the general feeling is that interviews are for borderline numbers that they are thinking about accepting. If you want to go to GTown, I would suggest going if it doesn't a big pain or a scheduling issue.Diarf22 wrote:Hey guys, so my numbers are a 166/3.6 non-urm and I applied for FT/PT. Makes sense. And, yeah, if I had used that ever useful yet elusive search tool I'd have found all the answers I needed. Hoping for a miracle acceptance but I won't be holding my breath!eaper wrote:This has been brought up a few times through the thread, so if you want more details I'd suggest looking around, but, from what I see, the general feeling is that interviews are for borderline numbers that they are thinking about accepting. Haha good luck. I think someone talked about getting the email supposed to go to their interviewer, so that post would be the most useful, but I think it would more or less agree with what I said. Anyways, good luck!Diarf22 wrote:Makes sense. And, yeah, if I had used that ever useful yet elusive search tool I'd have found all the answers I needed. For those of you who generated a password on Thu or Fri, could you let us know when you are able to log in? I'm trying to limit my attempts to a reasonable number. I'll post if I'm successful.

12/19 Complete and no interview request yet...anyone in the same boat? Thoughts on sending them a LOCI or maybe trying to arrange a meeting with an adcom during a visit?
