Interview with an alumnus coming up! Pleasantly surprised. I'll be scouring TLS all night looking for interview and Georgetown specific tips lol

Be relaxed and normal, have solid reasons for wanting to go to law school, and for Georgetown specifically. Show your enthusiasm for the school. Then take that (golden!) opportunity to ask your interviewer about his/her background, career, etc- they should be selling you Georgetown while you sell them yourself, and also having them talk about themselves makes the whole thing much less awkward.

Based on my own experiences, I would say that you are about to receive some happy news. In the meantime, you need to be patient. Note that even after you have generated an ASW password, it may be days before you are able to log in. I was only able to log in after receiving my snail mail acceptance (granted, I am in DC, so the snail mail came quickly).

Hey guys, so my numbers are a 166/3.6 non-urm and I applied for FT/PT. Obviously, Georgetown is a reach with my numbers, but I got an email which asked me to come down for a group interview. Realistically for those more in the know than I am, is this interview worth the trip (I am relatively nearby) or am I staring at a probable ding/wl regardless? Basically, I guess what I'm asking is just how much it means to receive an interview request. Thanks in advance for any helpful advice.

This has been brought up a few times through the thread, so if you want more details I'd suggest looking around, but, from what I see, the general feeling is that interviews are for borderline numbers that they are thinking about accepting. If you want to go to GTown, I would suggest going if it doesn't a big pain or a scheduling issue.

If you want to go to GTown, I would suggest going if it doesn't a big pain or a scheduling issue.
